Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: This is a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Pro-Deluxe, Ebony finish, serial number 70388575 in very good condition. Small volute, larger headstock, and Pro truss cover. There are some light dents and dings throughout the entire body, buckle rash and some chips down to the wood on the back of the neck and body. No breaks or repairs. Frets are in excellent shape. No buzzing or fretting out. Pick guard has been replaced, the input jack has been replaced with a metal one and Gibson tuners have been installed. Nothing that alters play or tone-This one really screams! Accurate low action and plenty of Les Paul crunch with warm mids and crystal clear highs puts this one on top of the whole game!Powered with 2 soap-bar P-90 pickups, 60's profile-three piece Mahogany neck has an Ebony fingerboard with pearl trapezoid inlays, four piece pancake body-2 layers of Mahogany with a thin Maple middle layer and a Maple top. Scale=24 3/4", Nut=1 11/16", Weight is 9 lbs. 13 oz. Black with red interior Gibson HSC is included. This Gibson Les Paul Pro Deluxe is a real looker and a true tone powerhouse!
