Le Paul Guitar Auction: Gibson Dickey Betts Red Les Paul Guitar -- Rare

Gibson Dickey Betts Red Les Paul Guitar -- Rare Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: You are looking at a rare Gem of a guitar! A Dickey Betts Red Les Paul in Excellent + shape with all the candy and some pics of the Master himself playing Goldie redressed in Red. Yes, in 2002 and 2003 the custom shop made a limited run of Goldie. By that time Dickey had Stripped Goldie down and redone her in red-in fact years before. Remember Charlie Daniels singing about Richard Betts playing his red guitar in the South's Goin To Do It Again. The Custom Shop then decided to make a limited run of the red one as well, making 110 in all. 110-- that's all. Here is your chance to own this rare guitar. The guitar is basically a 57 Goldtop painted red. Unique features are the body cutaway on the back making it more comfortable and the western hardware at the toggle and input jack. The guitar features 57 pickups, burstbuckers. It weighs in right at 9 lbs and comes with the original case, case candy, strap, and the added bonus of pictures. The guitar plays well, it's neck is straight and true and it's set up ready to play. I need to give this guitar a good home. It has been played only at home. I am the second owner. I hate to part, but circumstances dictate that I must. See my other auctions.
