Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: You are bidding on a brand new Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop 1960 Reissue G0/R0. The guitar has never been owned, just new old stock. This guitar is currently nearly $4000 on musicians friend website. The significance of this model is it was a Guitar Center exclusive, inspired by a 1960 model that Guitar Center Hollywood had and featured in the book "Beauty of the Burst". According to Gibson Nashville, the guitar is a 1960 reissue (hence the R0 stamp in the cavity) but the nice part is the neck is slightly bigger and between a 60 and the 1959. It is very comfortable to play and has an amazing sound! The guitar has a beautiful dark burst finish that is light enough in the center to show the natural pattern of the maple top with even the hint of a little natural flame showing. The binding is a nice off white color that accents the body very nicely and breaks up the transition from the beautiful top to the red sides and back nicely.The guitar is overall in mint condition. The only marks on this beauty are two extremely light marks on the back that can be seen when tilted into a light. Most people wouldn't see them but I'm funny that way. They are so light you couldn't call them scratches, more like rubs. If you look at the back straight on, they can't be seen and could likely be removed with the right polish or wax.The guitar has burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups and sounds amazing. The covers and all the chrome hardware is aged nicely from the factory (VOS). I require payment within 48 hours of the listing end via Paypal. Thanks for bidding!
