Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: Hi This is a Gibson Les Paul Standard made in January of 2004. It has a AA maple flame top with a cherry burst finish with Burstbucker Pro pickups. It has the 50s FAT neck profile, so if you have big hands or like thick necked instruments you will be quite pleased with the feel of this neck. Mahogany body, not chambered. Totally solid, clean Les Paul and it will not disappoint. The sustain is just unparalleled in my opinion. Everything is 100% original with this guitar though I did change the strap buttons to strap locks. But my intent was to play the guitar and there is no way in the world I would stand up and play a guitar like this without strap locks installed. The pickguard was never installed and it is included with the guitar as is the other case candy (see photo). I never bothered to change the case lock combination so it is still set at 000. There are no breaks, dings or dents anywhere on this guitar. There are two small 'pits' in the finish on the back side of the guitar that I tried to capture in the photo. I have no idea as to their origin and never even noticed until I inspected the guitar as I created this listing. The guitar is not mint because it has been played and there are signs of it being played, although they are very, very minor. There is evidence of pick action near the strings by the neck pickup. Not through the finish or even really what I would call wear. Also, on the back you can see a just the slightest bit of a 'haze' in a small area on the edge of the bout if you hold the guitar in the light a certain way, like it was rubbing against my shirt. It isn't buckle rash - I wear my guitars too high for that anyway. Both of these could very easily be polished out if so desired. The finish certainly isn't damaged and probably just needs a little extra TLC. Despite significant effort on my part, I couldn't even get any of this to come across in a photographs and I have a good camera. As you can see the guitar is in excellent shape and plays and sounds killer. Look at the photos and you can see this is a gorgeous guitar! I mentioned this evidence of play to be fair but it really is in great shape. Check out my feedback! I have sold numerous guitars and basses on ebay and go to great lengths to be as accurate and fair as possible. I am not a dealer but I don't sell crap and I definitely not trying to take advantage of anyone. So bid and purchase with confidence. Thanks for looking!
