This one has a wonderful top that is very deep and 3 Dimensional. It has been upgraded with Hovland Oil In Paper Capacitors, CTS Pots and has been wired 50's Style from RS Guitarworks. All else is original. It is naturally aged by years of play that have resulted in several dings and belt rash. Not abused, just used. The neck is big and round and a joy to play. The frets are in excellent shape as is the fingerboard...I haven't contacted Gibson to see if the fingerboard is Madagascar or possibly Brazilian...It is a real late 2002 and anything is possible. The neck is straight and the action very low and plays fast and flawlessly. It has Classic 57 Reissue PAF's that sound fat and overdrive perfectly and roll off to clean and sweet with nice overtones. The neck pickup reads 7.97k and the bridge 8.07k. The weight is a very comfortible 9lb's 2oz's. It ships in its original Gibson Black Custom Shop Hardshell case as shown. It comes with some of the original case candy, sorry, no COA, but as you can see by the pictures of the conrtiol cavity is clearly an R8. NO RESERVE! THE HIGHEST BIDDER AT THE END WILL BE THE WINNER!
