Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: This is a Custom Shop Gibson, Custom. 1968 "Historic" Re-issue with a AAAAA+ "flame" top finish that is a head turner. When I first saw it, I absolutely HAD to have it. Now, I've lost my job and I have to pay BILLS (Love this economy!) (PLEASE LOOK BELOW FOR FULL DESCRIPTION and SPECS)Anyway, I'm forced to sell it for whatever I can get. So, ......NO RESERVE auction (God help me).You would have to pay in the neighborhood of $5,000 if you were to go & buy one retail. So, some lucky devil is going to be happy with this VERY pretty guitar. It plays like a dream .....what can I say? It's a LES PAUL ! And, IMO "custom shop" guitars are worth the extra $$$.Actually, I'm a "Strat" guy, but I've been playing about 50 years and, who doesn't NEED at LEAST 10 guitars !?? I buy lots of guitars as I suffer from GAS (Guitar Acquisition Syndrome) as many of you. But, I'm FORCED to SELL for lack of MONEY so, I have to thin out my inventory as I'm financially embarrassed. This is good for whoever wins this gorgeous guitar. As far as dings and such, there IS a little bit of "buckle rash" on the back but, I couldn't capture it in the photos. It is very minimal, and you have to look close to see it.OHSC, with "Historic" logo and all the, documentation / "case candy".The guitar holds it's tune wonderfully, intonation is spot-on, and has virtually no fretwear. As mentioned I'm a "strat" player so, I've only used this for a few recordings. Happy to answer any questions or provide more photos. 100% Ebay profile I will REFUND any difference in shipping costs. Happy to accept your personal check, MO, or bank draft. (or ugh, PayPal)Thanks for looking ! RJ guitarsandkeys.com (not a retailer.... just 50 years of the bends) . Oh !!! OHSC is in new condition as well ..... the guitar has been in a humidity controlled studio all it's life.P.S. If you're in the market for a VERY nice "Tele", see my other auction(s) (110620596948), OR ask me about the other guitars I'm selling !
