Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: Gibson custom shop offered a very special 3 guitar package in the year 2000. The last 59R from 1999 , the first from 2000, & the Kunkel guitar. The three guitars were offered for $150,000 airfare and factory tour included. Ultimately, only the two 59's sold and Gibson kept the Kunkel guitar. This is the first Les Paul of the century. I also have the last Les Paul from the previous century if there is interest in keeping the set together, inquire within. They are both mint with tags and certificates along with more documentation than you can imagine. That is the short version. Offered for sale for a fraction of what it sold originally & starting at $1. No Reserve questions, Reasonable offers considered for both Les Pauls. This auction is for only one of the guitars not both. Serial number 9 0001. A fantastic example in Mint condition. It is very lightweight also. Original strings.
