Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: This is a really gorgeous Gibson Les Paul Standard, with a slim 60s neck. It is from 1997, as indicated by the number on the back of the headstock, and was built in the USA. I have played many Gibson Les Pauls, and this is the nicest one I have ever played. It is because of the very dense rosewood fingerboard, which is black and buttery like ebony. The body is black, and the guitar has never had any problems at all. There is some chipping to the paint, and a couple of scratches, but they are only aesthetic issues: nothing affecting sound or playability. See pictures for any blemishes. It comes with its original Gibson Hardshell Case. The case is missing its handle (I have simply tied a cloth to the clips, which has worked very well), and is in general worn about the edges, but still is very sturdy, and the wear is just aesthetic. Pink plush lining for the case. It's a beautiful guitar, and you won't regret it. No returns please. Thanks
