Thanks!greuvin@aol.comQuestions? 609 634 0648 1980 GIBSON Les Paul Deluxe finished in gorgeous Tobacco Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer. I just sold a near mint example of the exact same guitar for $3500. This axe is a PLAYER and is priced accordingly.Listed as a player because: it was routed for full-sized humbuckers,had two mini-toggle switches installed,has aftermarket pups,it has been refretted,and the finish has been removed from the back of the neck. Has a USA Seymour Duncan 59N in the neck (8K ohms) and a USA Seymour Duncan Custom Sh-5 in the bridge (13K ohms). Neck pup has a coil tap. Bridge pup is wired as a regular humbucker. Since it is a 4 wire type, the other mini-toggle (which is presently disconnected) can be easily wired to function as a coil tap, if you so desire. Has been played but not abused. Shows a nice vintage patina and some dings, scratches and wear. Overall in very good condition cosmetically. Weight is 10 pounds which is about right for this era. Plugged in, it sound like 2 tons!Grover style tuners keep it in tune perfectly. Professionally re-fretted with medium jumbo frets. Just set-up with new .010s, pick-up heights adjusted, truss rod adjusted, etc. Ready to play.This Lester sounds incredible! You just can't get this kind of tone from a new guitar. The timber has been vibrated extensively in a live music environment and the resultant tone is superb. Medium neck carve. Truss rod works perfectly. Frets are in great shape. It plays fantastic and stays in tune. Controls work perfectly with no static or noise. All set up with new .010's and ready to play. Needs nothing other than someone to play it.
