This is one of only 50 produced by Gibson's Custom Shop, aged by Tom Murphy to look exactly like the iconic axe from ZZ Top's one-of-a-kind front man. This is as close as most of us are going to get to a real 1959 Les Paul Burst.This guitar is in excellent condition and includes in the auction all of the original extras and case candy provided by Gibson. It weighs about 8 ½ lbs, very light for a Les Paul. It plays like a Gibson vintage dream come true; fat and creamy if you want, but also chimey and clear if played clean. Plug this girl into a vintage Marshall amp, dial up some boogie groove, and you will only need the sunglasses.You can see by the photographs the excellent condition of the guitar, as well as its beautiful color and flames.
