Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom Up for auction is a 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Classic Black Finish, Gold Hardware, Ebony Fingerboard, and inlayed headstock. A nice playing and sounding vintage Les Paul Custom. There are NO headstock cracks or crack repairs. The previous owner upgraded the pickups to Seymour Duncans and the hardware to a Tone Pros locking bridge and stop. The original tuners are intact with no evidence of any other tuners ever being installed. The guitar has been professionally refretted and plays very nicely up and down the fingerboard. The guitar has a few small nicks and dings with some surface belt buckle scratches and blemishes on the back of the body (see pictures below). The original 1976 dated pots and caps are intact in the control cavity (see picture below). The guitar comes with a Gibson Protector hardshell case as pictured.With a new Gibson Les Paul Custom costing $3899 from your local music store, this 35 year old vintage Les Paul can be had for much less.There are many pictures below take a minute and check them out.
