Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: Check US Out By Clicking the About Me Icon!1976 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Left Handed Up for auction is an attractive 1976 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Left handed. The guitar features a Cherry Sunburst Finish, Chrome Hardware, Pots dated 1976, and Creme Plastic parts. The guitar weighs 9 and 1/2 pounds. There are no headstock repairs or cracks.The guitar is cosmetically pretty clean overall for a 35 year old guitar. There are a few small nicks and dings that I have tride to capture in the pictures below. The previous owner had a sticker on the top of the body on the lower bout. You can faintly make out a red outline of a sticker under good light in this area. The pervious owner also had two flip locking nuts behind the nut on the headtsock. If you remember these were once very popular and often installed and used in the 1980s. As a result, there are two small professionally patched screw holes above the nut (see pics below). The truss rod cover and switch tip are newer. The frets appear to be original as they are not over the binding and are the wide and flat variety that was used by Gibson in the mid 1970s. The frets appear to have been dressed once or twice in the past. The guitar has two great sounding mini humbucking pickups.The guitar comes with its original purple lined hardshell case.
