This is the '99 Gibson USA Custom Shop Les Paul Elegant electric guitar. 24.75" scale. 1.71" nut width. 8 lbs. Serial #: CS9504. The finish on this beauty is Flow Silver- custom made for Mars Music- only 10 pieces exist! This makes this Elegant one of the rarest Gibson pieces out there! Even rare color aside, the Elegant is one of the coolest guitars Gibson ever released! The chambered mahogany body has great low end with an awesome acoustic resonance- loud even unplugged! The mahogany neck has the ultimate feel- the perfect balance between a 50's and 60's neck- not too thin and not too chunky. Dual "Patent Applied For" stickered '57 Classics bring that incredible PAF tone. Perfect crunch and articulation of the bridge and that thick sustain off the neck pickup- gorgeous! The aesthetics are head turning for sure. Full body and neck binding, chrome hardware, and of course, that incredible top that captures attention in any light. This is in very good condition- some light buckle rash on the back and two impressions on the back of the neck, small chip on the headstock, and a replaced neck volume pot(replaced with Gibson)- nothing that affects the gorgeous tone or playability of this ax. The frets are clean- this has just been professionally setup and plays amazing. Auction includes the original hardshell case.
