Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: GIBSON Les Paul 1960 Reissue, Custom, Art, and Historic Model. Mint Condition and beautiful light Amber color with appropriate aging of the binding, toogle switch. Very Light for a Les Paul. Purchased brand new at GC 2002 and list was 4250. This guitar has all the original case candy- ie: Hang Tags, GC Price Tag, Manuals, Unopened Polishing Cloth with 3 Gibson Special Picks. Certificate of Authenticity from Gibson still in protective wrapper. Basically this guitar is almost brand new and you have all the original stuff that goes with a new purchase. Just amazing. Just a Stunning Guitar with very minor buckle rash on back and a couple of very minor dings on back of neck. Plays like a dream and has the Custom aged GIbson Pickups, I think they are 450 and 455. Special Gibson Historic Case in mint condition. Guitar Sounds Spectacular and plays like a dream. I will put weight in later today but this probably one of the lightest les pauls you will find which is a big deal if you are using it on gigs. Very resonant when played acoustic. I purchased this guitar from my high school friend (session guitarist in LA) who is very pickey about his guitars. He purchased new at GC in LA in 2002. I used out maybe two or three times and hardly ever played it. I have another GIbson (1966 335) so don't need two Gibsons at this point and need the money so my loss is going to be your gain. I would rate the current condition at least a 9 out of ten. You will not be disappointed with the playability, looks-condition, or sound of this guitar. I hate to sell this guitar as it is pretty nice and is light. I won't find another this clean and light but? Pics to follow and if you need any more just email me and I will send off. The present Gibson Model that is similar in most respects is the Custom Shop 1960 50th Anniversary Model which Lists for over 8k. Holy cow. On Mar-29-11 at 18:49:06 PDT, seller added the following information:Guitar Weighs in at an incredible 7.75 pounds (somewhere between 7.5 and 7.75 on my luggage scale). Try finding one that light. Have Key for Case and lock works great. The Pickups are 60 RI Historic BurstBuckers and are at 7,75ohm neck and 7.50 bridge. So you will be buying a 9 year old Gibson with all the features of the original. Hate to see it go. Not easily replaced at this weight at any price.
