Le Paul Guitar Auction: Gibson Les Paul 2005 Standard (Midnight Manhattan Blue)

Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: Gorgeous limited run Standard Gibson Les Paul in the stunning and rare "Midnight Manhattan" blue, lightly tiger-striped finish with an enveloping white binding to accentuate its blue beauty !!! David Petilllo of Petillo Guitars here in NJ added a blue piece of abalone to the tone toggle switch for a cool blue accent. This guitar's minor issues are a slight yellowing on the binding where the neck hangs on a guitar hanger, a small, pencil-tipped size ding on the back edge (photographed), and some slight swirling on the back (no scratches thru the finish) If you like a thicker, chunkier smooth neck, then you'll love this. I believe it is a '60s style neck, but it could be a '50s. Guitar will come in Gibson pictured case with case candy (strap not included) ... this ax is a tad on the heavier side, but that just adds to its rich and deep tone. This guitar was put out in a limited run of 2 other finishes; Pacific Reef and a Desert Sunset. Some of the guitars had designations i.e. 2 of 250. This guitar does not have that (don't ask me why). I will only accept MOs ... shipping will be on you and we will decide on method, mode and amount for shipping following the auction.
