This is the '00 Gibson USA Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar! 24.75" scale. 1 11/16" nut width. 9.3 lbs. Serial #: 02820347. The Gibson Les Paul has been an icon of electric guitar since its inception- nearly 60 years ago! This Les Paul is part of the 'weight relieved' Standards making it a bit heavier but truly sets it apart in terms of tone. The density gives you more 'push' for sure. This starts off with the infamous mashogany body, set mahogany neck, & maple top. This gives you that incredible bottom end and sweet midrange with the maple adding some sweet highs. The 498 and 490 humbuckers bring you that classic PAF tone. From warm cleans off the neck pickup to searing crunch off the bridge to that syrupy gained out sustain on the neck...all of your favorite LP tones are right here. The neck is 60's profile for comfortable chord changes and fast leads! Visually this is a stunner- the flame top with trans wine red finish is just gorgeous! This auction includes a brand new Gibson hardshell case (non original). Excellent condition- some light finish wear(swirls)- the frets are clean and the neck is straight. This was just professionally setup with 10's for action of just 3/32" on the 12th fret low E! This is your chance to get your hands on an incredible example of weight relieved Gibson!
