Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: 1968 Les Paul Standard Project. Beautifully refinished 68 Les Paul damaged in shipping. Headstock crack through the headstock veneer.This guitar has a beautiful, center seam, book matched, concentric grain, maple top. The sunburst finish is amazing and shows light aging. The serial number is 529xxx indicating that it was made in 1968. This guitar weighed approximately 9.5 lbs fully loaded. It sounds great acoustically and amplified. It comes with a reissue case. I do believe that these 68's were made from leftover bodies from the late 50's. This guitar has a great neck shape reminicent of the late 50's Les Pauls. This auction does not include any hardware or pickups. I had it set up with original PAF's and will make it all available to the winning bidder, separately, if he/she wants it.This is a great opportunity for someone to have a vintage Les Paul for a fraction of the cost.No international bidders please.
