This is the '10 Gibson Custom Les Paul Axcess Standard Stoptail guitar. 24.75" scale. 1 11/16" nut width. 6.8 lbs. Serial #: 100165. The Axcess takes everything you've come to love about the Les Paul and takes it up a notch. The Axcess features a mahogany body with a maple top- producing that time tested incredible tone.Tons of low end with those cutting Gibson mids! The one-piece mohogany neck adds great tone transfer and sustain. The profile is between a 50's & 60's- slightly chunkier than a 60's but a flatter profile than the 50's- the best of both worlds. And with the new Axcess heel- you'll have no problem shredding right to the 22nd fret...WITHOUT having to leave your thumb behind! Dual uncovered Burstbucker pickups deliver the famous PAF tone with a bit more output. Perfect for great crunch and searing leads off the bridge and that endless sustain off the neck. The Axcess has you covered on clean tones as well- both pickups split to single coils via their respective tone pots. This opens up an entire new world of tones for you. In terms of aesthetics, this is pure understated beauty. The body and neck binding plays off the inky black finish beautifully! This guitar is in exceptional condition. The frets are clean- just professionally set up with 10's with action of just 3/32" at the 12th fret low E. There are several small light scratches, which you'll always tend to see more on a black guitar. The black also makes it very hard to get on camera. They affect nothing- this guitar is incredible! This auction includes the original Gibson Custom hardshell case and COA! We have been an authorized Gibson dealer for well over a decade.
