Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: I have a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop for sale. I've had this guitar since Sept of 2009 and it is a beautiful guitar in great shape. There are a few very minor, very superficial scratches in the lacquer but they could easily be buffed out if one were so inclined. They're so minor I've never considered it. I couldn't even get them in the photos because of how small they are. Just want to be up front about it. I just took the pickups to confirm that its a standard because the guy I bought it from was unsure. It has a 50s neck and was made in Feb 08 before the official "08 Les Paul Standard" so it doesn't have a Nuetrik jack or any of the things they started doing in August of that year. This is your good ole LP Standard. It is weight relieved but the tone of the guitar is really beautiful. I hate to sell it, but its that kind of economy right now. Happy bidding.
