Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: You are bidding on a 2005 USA Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded in Honeyburst with a nice flame and fast 50's neck. This guitar is really nice and has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan 59 PAF in the bridge, as well as RS Toneworks 50's Vintage Les Paul wiring harness with CTS 500K pots and oil filled capacitors. The pickup magnets have also been 'flipped' to get that nasally, out of phase tone Peter Green is known for. Really one of the nicest Les Paul's I've played. The stock burstbucker bridge pickup is included. Frets are in excellent condition with minimal wear if any at all.The guitar is in great condition with a ding by the input jack and another on the top of the back much less noticeable. Aside from some very superficial marks that only show up in the right light and the items previously mentioned, this is a really nice guitar. Les Paul Fadeds have ahand-rubbed finish and have no lacquer sprayed on them. Some people say this allows the guitarto breathe better. With the electronics modifications that have been done on the guitar, it all makes a really nice package. The guitar sounds goodacoustically as well. It is truly a tonemonster. It'sdefinitely a blues/rock machine!The guitar comes with theoriginal Gibson hard shell case, which has been doing it's job and has plenty of rubs and scrapes that are shown in the photo. Inside its in great shape. This guitar weighs somewherein the 8 pound range.
