Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: This is a VERY cool Les Paul Custom vintage 1981. All the usual stuff you'd expect...496R & 498T Humbuckers, Ebony finger board, Monster Tone and Sustain, it weighs in at just over 10 lbs on my bathroom scale....PLUS some unique ORIGINAL extras...The tuners have the "Pop Out" crank handles built in to make string changing on the fly a breeze & special strap buttons to keep this Paul on your shoulder.The color is a very cool red. Not sure what it's called. Any experts out there...feel free to help me out! ...Best I can describe it is, it's a VERY deep candy apple red/light burgandy hybrid...whatever they called it...it's Gorgeous!!!Overall condition is very good for a 30 year old guitar. The gold plating has the usual fading & slight tarnishing...but no rust. A couple of dings on the headstock and neck. Fairly light buckle rash on the back, NOT through the finish. A couple of worn finish spots on the back under side of the neck. The color is worn away. Not noticable to the audience. Some light swirl marks and scratches on the front. ..and two little compression marks between the 498T-P/U and Tune-o-Matic bridge...not sure what from, but hardly visible unless you look for them.Look at the pix and email me with any questions.This is a really sweet looking, fast playing and awesome sounding LP Custom....It will be shipped with lots of care, wrapped carefully and double boxed with plenty of padding.
