Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: We are very excited to present this 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Faded '59 Reissue Conversion, one of our favorite guitars in the shop, today in this NO RESERVE auction starting at just 99 cents. To start, this Les Paul looks like $400,000. By that we mean it looks old, so people always ask if it's real! Unfortunately not, but it certainly feels and sounds vintage. This one has the 50s neck, which is not nearly as fat as the custom shop equivalents and plays fast without the big shoulders. It also has our favorite feature -- a chambered body. That makes it only 6 lbs. 12 ounces and an absolute joy to play live...you can save your back! The chambered body also provides some added depth to the sound, and we best describe it as having the ability to get both ES-335 tones AND Les Paul tones. Very versatile guitar. It sounds and looks so good thanks to its tasteful '59 Reissue-style upgrades -- the aged Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups with Nickel covers ($330), nickel Faber ABR-1 conversion bridge ($70), Gibson Historic Reissue Pickguard and bracket set ($50), Gibson Historic Reissue strap buttons ($20), and last but not least a real vintage GIbson tailpiece ($150). The flametop is jaw-dropping and authentic looking. Be prepared for compliments! The guitar has been used but not abused and shows no buckle wear nor dents or dings of any sort. Shows a little bit of stand wear by the 14th fret but hardly worth mentioning. Frets are like new and the setup is perfect with size 10 strings. It includes all the original parts and the original Burstbucker pro pickup set along with the original paperwork, case candy and original Gibson case. This is a NO RESERVE auction so the high bidder wins. Everything will be packaged extremely well in a guitar box and insured in full. Shippingwill be $50 Fedex insured to the lower 48 states, and internationally we ship USPS Express for $165. Canada, Alaska and Hawaii will be a $110 flat rate.International bidders -- please make sure the USPS sizerestrictions to your country have the 108 inches length plus girth maximum sizelimit -- we have blocked bidders from most countries we can't ship to but there are exceptions -- for example we cannot ship to Australia unless you are OK with $450+ shipping costs...sorry.
