Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: I've got a 2007 Gibson Les Paul Faded in Honeyburst for trade. The pickups were swapped out for a pair of white EMGs (81/85). The EMG's sound great in it, and you can get a LOT of good tones out of it. As a bonus, they look awesome in this guitar. The battery is in the control cavity. Volume pot is a push/pull for coil split. The original pots are included. I had a my local shop cut a new bone nut and do a setup. The guitar is currently setup for 10's. Great playing and sounding guitar. I've never said this about a guitar I've traded or sold, but the sustain is pretty amazing on it. It is has a 50's style neck. I don't have an exact weight, but the guitar is pretty light. I'm fairly certain it is chambered, but I'm not completely sure about that. The top on this one is REALLY nice. The flame looks great. There are some marks on the guitar here and there. There are a good many pick scratches on the body, and some finish scratches on the back. It's impossible to avoid it really with this finish if you actually play the guitar. They are really hard to photograph. Some you can feel, some you can't. You have to tilt the guitar in the light to get them to show up. I did the best I could to get them to show up in one of the pictures. There is one tiny dark mark on the binding near the pickup selector, and some tiny indentations on the bottom edges. Again, hard to get to show up. The frets are in great shape with very little, if any, wear.Overall, in excellent condition. Once you see it in person, there is absolutely no way you will be disappointed.It comes with the original Gibson USA hard shell case in the photos. The case has a few marks, but overall excellent condition.
