Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: 2005 Gibson Historic Les Paul - It doesnt get any better than this! (Unless of course you can afford an original 59!) This guitar is a closet queen. It is in as new condition. The only thing I can find is there is slight tarnish to the pickup covers that can probably be buffed out if you so choose. It has had the complete RS kit electronic upgrade and has Fralin True 60's pickups. It rings like a bell acoustically and has nice clean articulation across the strings when played clean and overdriven. The neck pickup isnt muddy like most I have played. It is clear and sounds amazing! This guitar has the most beautiful top I have come across. There is no fade out anywhere! The neck is perfect. Not too fat, not too skinny.......just right, and she comes in at 8.2 Pounds!!
