SOLID ONE PIECE MAHOGANY BODY AND NECK, NO VOLUTE MADE IN THE USA This is a 1984 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop Reissue, she was part of my prized collection, I bought her many years ago and as an investment! it is hard to believe this guitar is going to be 28 years old, as she looks great! you will look far and long to find a nicer one!She is Crafted the old fashioned way. The finest quality mahogany was selected for the one piece none pancake body & neckhard rock maple top Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard,Shaw PAF pickupsunbroken solder jointsshe is in good condition! there are No modifications, No breaks! No cracks! or repairs! the neck is straight and the frets are in good condition, the neck joint is rock solid, the electronics function perfectly.there are some surface marks, I think there were some different tuners fitted before as there are extra holes as you can see in the photo of the back of the headstock, it is marked Sec also on the back of the headstock, Gibson marked them like this when there was a slight cosmetic flaw, as the guitar is now almost 28 years old it is impossible to find the cosmetic flaw, if there ever was one! as often Gibson employees marked them so they could get a discount when buying one for them selves. if you ever considered investing in a vintage Gibson well this is the one & no reserve price!She plays and sounds like a dream!She is in nice original shape!She is Crafted the old fashioned way Beautiful dark rosewood fretboard,She has the original highly prized Tim Shaw PAF pickupsGOOD CONDITION She will blow you away EVERY TIME you play her!!!!GREAT TONE!!!!!!!!!!!
