Les Paul Guitars Auction Description: For sale is my 2003 Gibson Les Paul 1956 Historic reissue, serial number 6-30XX. It is one of the very few 56 Brazilians Gibson made. Thin Goldtop nitrocellulose lacquer finish with a natural back. All stock parts. Weighs 9 lbs even, and comes with all paperwork from Gibson, as well as the COA and Custom Shop case. Was just PLEK'd and setup beautifully with 10's. It is in great shape with perfect frets, but it has been played a little, and there are a few minor dings on the top, back, and a couple on the side near the input jack as seen in the pics. There is also minor wear at the top of the headstock, and a mark under the pickguard from the screw, but you can't see it when the guard is on. The pics make everything look worse, but I don't call items mint if they are not, as I'm not about surprising buyers with stuff and leaving someone unhappy. I take pride in my perfect feedback. If you are looking for a really cool 56 Goldtop w/ a Brazilian board with all paperwork that you can actually play without worrying about putting a pick scratch on it, this is perfect. Gibson made very few Historic Les Pauls with Brazilian rosewood, and they never will again. Goldtop, P-90s, and a Brazilian board...you can't beat it! No reserve listing! If you need more pics of something, just let me know. Please ask any and all questions PRIOR to bidding as all sales are final. Thanks for looking, and good luck!!!(According to Gibson, the only 1956 Reissues with Brazilian rosewood fingerboards from 2003 range from serial number 63001-63148)
