Neck is straight as an arrow, paint isflawless, gold hardware is shiny and smooth, Grover tuners are tight,electronics are flawless, volume and tone pots smooth. The ONLY flaw on this guitar is light pickscratches on pickguard. Replace it ifyou must but I prefer to keep my guitars in original condition. Beauty and the beast. The beauty of this instrument is beyondcomparison. Plug beauty into the rightamp and beauty becomes the beast. I meanthis thing snarls - and rightfully so. Like all the great Paul's of the day and before, this guitar is made ofexotic woods finely crafted into a wet dream tone machine. The chunky neck providesfor a wider fingerboard, giving the demanding guitarist more space to workfinger magic. Jimmy and Duane wouldn'thave it any other way. The pickups singlike a bird and sustain twice as long as Strat singles. You can really tell the difference whenbending those notes. Even better, Beautyhas a rock hard EBONY fingerboard that makes bends, pulloffs, hammers, and allthe tricks of the trade silky smooth. What a combination - black, gold, and ebony!
