Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson 1989 Les Paul Custom Guitar w/ Case

Gibson 1989 Les Paul Custom Guitar w/ Case Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: jacobs-law store Gibson 1989 Les Paul Custom Guitar w/ Case 1989 Gibson Les Paul CustomSerial # 820295426 StringsColor: Alpine WhiteFeatures: Gold Package w/ Mother of PearlThis guitar looks and sounds great and everything is original. When I unscrewed the back panels to take pictures of the inside a very light wood dust sprinkled onto the panels. I hope I wasn't the first person to put a screw driver to this beauty, but I had to in order to get pics of the inside. It's been a long time since this guitar has been handled and it hardly looks like it was even used. It has suffered some color oxidation from being stored under a Florida bed for multiple years: the Alpine White has faded into a "cream" color which seems to be common with guitars similar in age. It still has that strong new feel and incredible vibrant sound; the strings and frets show minimal wear and the few dings you see are mostly minor surface blemishes. The neck is strong; from first glance it appears the neck has some damage but upon further inspection the neck is completely sturdy and the imperfection is from paint cracking. The toggle switch is missing a black plastic ring cover that has been lost; but overall, I would say this guitar is in very good+++ condition. It needs to be cleaned, but I'll leave that up to the new owner unless otherwise specified. There was a mark on one of knobs that I didn't notice until after I uploaded the pics and scheduled the listing; it has since been rubbed away and looks immaculate like the others. This guitar comes in its original case with the owner's manual. The case is in very nice condition; I left out many of its pics so I could post more pics of the beautiful guitar. The front of the case shows "GIBSON USA" and features a combination lock. Inside the case their is a portion of the pink shag that is partially coming off but I'm sure with a little fix-it glue it should be an easy repair. It transports and holds shut perfectly fine; however there is a missing buckle clasp on one of the latches. Please view pictures as part of the description and feel free to ask any questions to help clarify origin, condition and/or shipping. This guitar is the real deal and I hope it goes to someone who can appreciate it. Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding! Payment is due within 3 days of auction end by Paypal. If payment is not received within 3 days, all items will be relisted and an non-paying bidder report will be filed with EBAY.We try to ship all items within 48 hours of payment. We will combine shipping on multiple items. We only ship internationally on a case by case basis and the international bidder must contact us before the end of the auction. I WILL LOVINGLY PACKAGE YOUR GUITAR IN A PROPER BOX AND SHIP IT MYSELF, CHECK ME OUT 100 % FEEDBACK ! IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 100 % PLEASE INSTANT PAY ONLY ! THANK YOU FOR LOOKING Neck and HeadstockNeck SpeciesThe neck of the Slash Appetite Les Paul is constructed from one solid piece of quarter-sawn, Grade A mahogany for improved strength and resonance. Tonal CharacteristicsThe quarter-sawn neck enhances sustain and resonance through its outstanding transference of vibrational energy to the body, while the rosewood fingerboard contributes warmth and richness to the guitar's overall tonal complexity. Neck ProfileThe neck on the Slash Appetite Les Pauls are carved to Slash's own preferred Slim neck profile, which closely replicates the famously fast-playing Les Paul Standards of the last year of production in 1960. ToleranceWhen fitting the neck and body together, we take advantage of our precise measuring equipment so that all angles, pitches and alignments maintain a tolerance within .005 of an inch. Not only does this help to keep your guitar in tune but it also maintains proper string alignment relative to the fingerboard. JointGibson uses what is known as the Mortis & Tenon joint to bind neck to body so that the two pieces form one solid unit. This ancient timber joint, used by woodworkers for millennia, forms a bond that is stronger than a single, solid piece of wood. Joint Angle5° (+/- 15 seconds) Headstock AngleJust like the original Les Pauls of 1958-'60, and many classic Gibson models, the Slash Appetite Les Paul headstock is carefully angled at Gibson's traditional 17 degrees. This subtle yet crucial element of the guitar's design increases pressure on the strings and helps them stay in the nut slots. An increase in string pressure also means there is no loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners, which equals better sustain. Truss RodGibson's traditional truss rod, found in nearly all of our guitars, is highly responsive to the individual adjustments you'll want to make to personalize and optimize string action and sustain. LogoThe traditional, period-correct Gibson logo is inlaid in mother of pearl across the top of a holly headstock veneer, with a classic Slash graphic silkscreened at the center of the headstock face. AdhesiveThe adhesive used to join neck and body is Franklin Titebond 50, one of the strongest glues on the market today. Fingerboard and NutFingerboard SpeciesThe Slash Appetite Les Paul carries a Grade A rosewood fingerboard, which is both hardwearing and sonically superlative, adding sweetness and depth to the guitar's overall sound. In the image of the later versions of the original Les Paul Standards, the Slash Appetite Les Paul's fingerboard carries 22 jumbo frets, which further aid string bending and playing speed. Rosewood fingerboards are known for their rich, round tone, which contributes added depth and dimension to the overall complexity of the Slash Appetite Les Paul's voice.Just like that of the original 'Burst, the 12" radius of the Slash Appetite Les Paul fingerboard provides smooth note-bending capabilities and eliminates "dead" or "choked out" notes, common occurrences on fingerboards with lesser radiuses, and is another feature that has helped to make this guitar a blues-rock legend. InlayThe Slash Appetite Les Paul fingerboard carries acrylic trapezoid position-marker inlays, echoing the traditional look of the original Les Paul Standard. Nut MaterialThe nut on the Slash Appetite Les Paul is made from Corian, a dense material preferred by today's luthiers for its superior transference of vibrational energy. It is installed into the top surface of the neck, butting up to the end of the fingerboard to ensure proper tone and sustain transfer, and its nut slots are cut with Gibson's PLEK system to ensure precise fit, break angle, and string spacing. The width of the nut on the Slash Appetite Les Paul is approximately 1.695", in line with traditional Les Paul Standards, and preferred by Slash himself.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: 1991 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition Guitar

1991 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition Guitar Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: For auction is a 1991 Gibson Les Paul Standard limited edition high gloss natural finish with gold hardware that Gibson did 300 of. It doesn't get better than this model right here which originally sold at NAMM many years ago. Right off the bat this is one of the best looking Les Pauls ever made. Amazing wood grain maple top and the high gloss finish is not some thin coat that you see on other guitars. This guitar has been babied its entire life, even the rose wood board looks mint. You can see after 20 years it has some cool looking checking on the black headstock cap but that is it. All the gold hardware looks mint and I can not see any buckle rash at all. Frets have no dings or grooves. Lastly, the sound is pretty huge. The neck pick up has that old school jazz/rock tone mids and the bridge is more scooped modern sound that can't be touched when your running through a Marshall, Mesa, etc. I A/B this guitar against my 76 LP Custom and the highs and mids were actaully a bit more pronounced with this and the sustain was identical. I will ship worldwide but please make sure the country you reside in will accept a box that is 46",19",7". Please be able to pay within 48 hours after the auction finishes. To see my entire inventory of guitars at the lowest prices do a google search for recyclerock. Les Paul Guitars Auction: 1956 Gibson Les Paul Special - Vintage Rare

1956 Gibson Les Paul Special - Vintage Rare Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 1956 Gibson Les Paul Special - "TV" Vintage GuitarThis is an ORIGINAL 1956 Gibson Les Paul Special - "TV" vintage guitar. This is NOT a reissue or replica. I have owned it for 30 years. It was used onstage in the early 80's by a well known San Francisco Bay Area lead guitarist now living in Austin, TX. It has been rarely used since then and is an extremely rare find that is in excellent condition. It is original natural Limed Mahogany (not retouched) and referred to as "TV", which it became commonly known as, because it showed up better on black and white TV's than other colors at that time. This is a great looking and fantastic playing guitar and the kicker is, it only weighs 7 Lbs! It has been recently completely gone thru and its originality verified by the premier guitar technician in the Reno, NV area. It was restrung with GHS 010 GBL Boomers (10-46 light gauged strings) and has been thoroughly inspected, all cleaned, adjusted, polished, pro set up, tuned to pitch and ready to rock. The body, frets, P-90 pickups, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, inner working electronics and solder joints are all original and in beautiful working condition. The fretboard and frets have almost no wear. The neck is perfectly straight and the truss rod has never had a wrench on it. Please see close-up pictures showing non-original parts including after market Leo Quan BadAss bridge (an upgraded bridge that allows for each individual string to be fine tuned at the tail piece), after market Kluson (like original) gears and vintage hard case. Please note (in close-up picture) that there is a small 1 cm. nick on the front of the body 3.5 cm. above the lower pickup. There is some light finish checking which is normal in the "TV" finish. This guitar is in remarkable condition. Guitar - Sold AS-IS, no warranties expressed or implied. NO RETURNS!! Buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges. I will only ship via UPS. Domestic (US) Shipping Charges plus Insurance range from about $150 to $350 depending on type of service and location. Hawaii & Alaska can be quoted upon request. UPS International Shipping Charges plus Insurance are generally in the $500 range and can also be quoted upon request. Free Local pick-up. PAYPAL ONLY (verified). Item must be paid for within 5 days after auction ends. Seller will ship within 3 days after receiving cleared payment. Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Standard *2005* USA *NO RESERVE*

Gibson Les Paul Standard *2005* USA *NO RESERVE* Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: NO RESERVE*if you can't pay, please don't bid* Up for auction is a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard in excellent condition. This Gibson gem has all of the Slash signature model upgrades done to it that were done when it was brand spankin new. Everything was done by a certified pro luthier. The Slash upgrades are the ones from his VOS Piezo Custom Shop Signature model and not to be confused with the standard and much much much cheaper Slash model that does not have a piezo and other features. This Standard has an ungraded graphite nut for bends without any hesitation. It has the mini toggle switch for the Piezo bridge pickup just like the custom shop Slash model. You can go from neck, bridge, to acoustic with the flip of a switch. It has the acoustic piezo bridge like slash so you can get more acoustic tones from a Les Paul. It has Locking Grover tuners. Just slide them through turn the knob and they are automatically locked in and ready to go. With this Les Paul you also get a flame top which the Slash model does not have. The pickups are a set of high dollar PRS pre lawsuit Tremonti pickups and give a tremendous sound to this guitar. No expense spared on this axe and 100% professionally done from new guitar with new parts and not just hacked together. There are no splits, cracks, breaks or repairs anywhere. The action is low, the neck is true and the frets are in great shape. Comes with the Original Gibson case and case candy as shown as well as a brand new pickguard that has never been installed. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions after viewing all of the photos below. Les Paul Guitars Auction: GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD 50s Fat Neck Burstbuckers

GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD 50s Fat Neck Burstbuckers Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Hi This is a Gibson Les Paul Standard made in January of 2004. It has a AA maple flame top with a cherry burst finish with Burstbucker Pro pickups. It has the 50s FAT neck profile, so if you have big hands or like thick necked instruments you will be quite pleased with the feel of this neck. Mahogany body, not chambered. Totally solid, clean Les Paul and it will not disappoint. The sustain is just unparalleled in my opinion. Everything is 100% original with this guitar though I did change the strap buttons to strap locks. But my intent was to play the guitar and there is no way in the world I would stand up and play a guitar like this without strap locks installed. The pickguard was never installed and it is included with the guitar as is the other case candy (see photo). I never bothered to change the case lock combination so it is still set at 000. There are no breaks, dings or dents anywhere on this guitar. There are two small 'pits' in the finish on the back side of the guitar that I tried to capture in the photo. I have no idea as to their origin and never even noticed until I inspected the guitar as I created this listing. The guitar is not mint because it has been played and there are signs of it being played, although they are very, very minor. There is evidence of pick action near the strings by the neck pickup. Not through the finish or even really what I would call wear. Also, on the back you can see a just the slightest bit of a 'haze' in a small area on the edge of the bout if you hold the guitar in the light a certain way, like it was rubbing against my shirt. It isn't buckle rash - I wear my guitars too high for that anyway. Both of these could very easily be polished out if so desired. The finish certainly isn't damaged and probably just needs a little extra TLC. Despite significant effort on my part, I couldn't even get any of this to come across in a photographs and I have a good camera. As you can see the guitar is in excellent shape and plays and sounds killer. Look at the photos and you can see this is a gorgeous guitar! I mentioned this evidence of play to be fair but it really is in great shape. Check out my feedback! I have sold numerous guitars and basses on ebay and go to great lengths to be as accurate and fair as possible. I am not a dealer but I don't sell crap and I definitely not trying to take advantage of anyone. So bid and purchase with confidence. Thanks for looking!

It plays smoothly with no buzzing. The guitar is in amazing condition partly because it has hardly been played for the last year and a half (new baby). You can see very slight dullness where my arm rested. There is a very small ding near the pickup selector switch, but it does not show up in the photos and the paint is not affected. No belt rash. No paint flaws. Les Paul Guitars Auction: GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM SHOP ALPINE WHITE GUITAR

GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM SHOP ALPINE WHITE GUITAR Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM SHOP ALPINE WHITE GUITAR Powered byAuctionSound Item Description: You are bidding on one (1) GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM SHOP ALPINE WHITE GUITAR This guitar is previously owned and used. The seller thinks it was purchased around 3 years ago and is the only owner (one owner). It was used for home-studio-use only, and it comes from a NON-SMOKING HOME. The guitar has been well-taken-care-of and was rarely played. It has all original parts, except for pickups (original pickups are included in this auction). This guitar is overall in excellent condition. We tested it in store, and it worked great. The input jack is good. It is free of dings on the edges. The neck is straight and the binding is in great shape. There are small black marks at the base (probably from guitar strap), and yellow spots in the back and the bottom that came from guitar stand. We found a small surface/finish crack that follows the seam between the neck and body (see photo). There is a light discoloration in the lower back of the neck, light belt marks on the black panel in the back (and a few minor/faint ones on the guitar), and normal scuff marks and pick marks on other parts of the body. Fret wear is normal.Includes the original hardshell case (in excellent condition but without key), tool and original pickups.Specifications: Electric guitar 6-string Gold hardware Ebony fretboard Mother of pearl inlays Neck pickup is Seymour Duncan Jazz Bridge pickup is Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck Serial # CS60379 **This item may ship in a 20" x 8" x 46" box weighing 25 about pounds.** **Items marked UPS Ground will actually ship FedEx Ground.** **There is no charge for local pick up. Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2007 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Reissue Quilt-top

2007 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Reissue Quilt-top Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 2007 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1959 Reissue, Gloss, Quilt-top in Double Washed Cherry ... BIN $3799.99.Serial Number: 972121This is a 2007 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul 1959 Reissue Gloss Quilt-top in Double Washed Cherry. Retail: $6499. This is the top of the line '59 reissue with an incredible 2D, book-matched quilt top, full quilting across the top in a rounded chevron, definitely 5A (AAAAA), in a rarer burst color. The guitar weighs 9 pounds (analog scales). There are two extremely small indentation that do NOT break the finish and are very hard to see. One indentation is on the top, one on the side of the side of the back. The indention on the top is 1/32" round and the one on the side of the back is approximately 1/8" long and 1/16" wide. Very little fret and fingerboard ware. I would give this guitar a 9.5/10. The guitar comes with the Lofton HSC and all the appropriate case candy: shoulder strap, COA, ... everything pictured. I do not have the original shipping box.Reason for Sale: I 'm now in between jobs and need to liquidate all my equipment (my guitars, amp, cab, speaker, and effect pedals).Gibson's Description for the R9Gibson's Les Paul Standard model from 1959 is the most highly acclaimed, widely recognized solid body electric guitar in the entire world, coveted by both players and collectors as the ultimate example of playability, attractiveness and tone among all six-stringed instruments. In an industry filled with imitations and replicas, the iconic 1959 Les Paul Standard simply has no equal.Named after Lester William Polsfuss, aka Les Paul - legendary American jazz guitarist, and true pioneer in the development of recorded music - the Les Paul model guitar became the "Standard" in July 1958 after company president Ted McCarty and his staff decided to add the new designation and forego the guitar's traditional Goldtop finish for a new, brighter finish dubbed Cherry Sunburst, which allowed the natural beauty of the Les Paul Standard's maple top to be showcased. The company was hoping the changes would improve its sales of solid body electric guitars, which had been declining since 1953 when the Gibson shipped 2,245 Les Paul Model guitars.Muscian's Friend Description (for the regular gloss R9)The Gibson 1959 Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar has an AA flamed maple top - exactly the kind of wood that went on the vintage Les Pauls in '59. BurstBucker 1 and 2 pickups are precision re-creations of original "Patent Applied For" pickups, right down to the mismatched windings. Original bumblebee capacitors, long-tenon 1959 rounded neck profile, CTS pots, original aluminum stopbar, and tons of other details make it look, sound, and play identically to the original.
