Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2007 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1960 TriBURST Gloss finish and Great Flametop

2007 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1960 TriBURST Gloss finish and Great Flametop Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Yes, I'm lisiting things for $1 opening bid and let it ride. Its holiday time and that's time to have fun and be joyful. GO FOR IT!OK, this is an AS NEW never been played 2007 Gibson Les Paul Standard 1960 reissue Historic in GLOSS finish and Tri burst color with ebony/black back. SHe's a real beauty. The wood looks like a REAL 1959 Les Paul. Has the 3 D wavey Flametop plus very cool Mineral streaks (fleking) that makes it look like real old wood (you know it just might be from the old wood pile Gibson has!) Has the Certificate, hang tags, case candy, and Brown Lifton Case. Guitar weighs just 9lbs, very nice!! RETAIL you know stores price these at $5999 now and with the issue with the wood suppliers, they may go even higher OR maybe can't get them any more!!! Now that would be tragic! Even still, I'm listing at $1 opening bid so bid and be happy! Will be shipped in a Gibson box well packed and secure.Fixed UPS ground shipping of $35 in continental USA. Other locations pay based on final destination and service requested. International bidder REMEMBER shipping is very expensive. I usually use USPS Global Express which hits around $170 except for Australia where I used FedEx which runs about $200 depending on insurance. However, some countries have size restrictions which the guitar box exceeds, so the Airmail Prioity service is next to use, but it takes longer, but is cheaper. Also, some countries have limited insurance by USPS (like max of $500 or $650), so be aware of the details. Thanks.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Flame Top

2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Flame Top Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Flame Top This 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Flame Top is in near mint cond.No fret wearThe only thing keeping this guitar from mint is two very tiny dings by the strap button(see pict)DesignThe mahogany body with flamed maple cap looks normal enough, but it features what Gibson calls a 'weight-relieved' design. Unlike chambering, which is carried out solely for tonal reasons (to change the resonance of an instrument), 'weight-relieving' is intended simply to reduce the amount of mahogany used, and thus the guitar's weight. That, along with 6mm less body thickness between the Axcess and a traditional Standard, equates to a substantial reduction in weight - around one to two pounds lighter, depending on instrument. There's also significant body shaping, comprising both a belly contour and, most importantly, a considerably reduced heel to aid upper fret-access. This shaping means that it is far more comfortable to cradle the guitar closely while playing sitting down, compared to a LP Standard.ElectricsElectrics comprise a pair of Burstbucker pickups, the slightly under-wound 1 in the bridge and the hotter, more rounded 2 in the neck position. Both are designed to reproduce that classic vintage-favoured PAF tone and are controlled in the standard way, save for the provision of a coil-split on the treble pickup's tone pot. It's a master split that isolates the inner coils of both humbuckers. Related News Review It's interesting that a simple coil-split can vastly increase a Les Paul's tonal palette and, with a smoother blues-style drive, the coil-split middle position resembles a boosted Strat's central coil - all body and restrained sparkle. For super clean sounds, meanwhile, the split tones benefit from the associated lack of mahogany push to give tones that are full yet distinct. Plays and sounds fantastic! Posted with eBay Mobile

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Custom SG 30th Anniversary Guitar 1961-91 NM Electric w/hs case

Gibson Les Paul Custom SG 30th Anniversary Guitar 1961-91 NM Electric w/hs case Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Gibson Les Paul Custom SG 30th Anniversary Guitar 1961-1991 TV Yellow - Made in USA Limited Edition 300 made in 1991Near Mint ConditionThis is a sweet guitar that has seen very little use. It was used sparingly be me in the early 90's and has sat in it's case rarely used over the last 20 years. This guitar is all original with 3 humbuckers and grover tuners - all gold plated. Ebony fretboard. Gibson 1961-1991 30th Anniversay inlaid in the headstock. It plays very nice with low action and the frets are in almost new condition. This is an awesome sounding guitar. Nothing beats the sound of an SG through a tube amp.Only a couple of tiny dings that don't show up in pictures, a few minor scratches that are not through the finish on the back, some slight finish crazing in a couple of places, and slight aging of the gold hardware are the only noteables that keep it from being listed as mint condition. No buckle rash. You will have a hard time finding another guitar like this in better condition. Gibson hardshell case included. Case has some wear, but still in fine working order. The combo lock has never been set - instructions included as well as the Gibson warrantee card. One of these 1991 SG 30th anniversary models was listed a while back for $3,000 and it was not in as good of condition as this one. Low reserve on this baby, it will go to the highest bidder. You will love this guitar!!! Good Luck!!!PayPal prefferedS&H $75.00USA bidders only - Do not ask - I will not ship outside of USA

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop 1960 Reissue

Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop 1960 Reissue Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: This is a beautiful guitar. Made to the specifications of 1960, it's the ultimate electric instrument for rock. The gold finish has a couple of aging cracks...eventually, if you are lucky, the entire finish will feature these as it looks amazing. The guitar is heavy in both sound and weight, it's a solid piece of playable art. The action and playability are exceptional in my opinion. There is some buckle wear on the back of the finish, but it is faint and not visible in these pictures. In general, this instrument is in very good condition. Get this amazing axe as part of your collection. You will be inspired to "level up" with your playing. This guitar was made in the USA in 2006. It comes with a hard case...I broke the lock because I forgot the combination, but all else is fantastic. Local pick up has no shipping charge. I will ship with insurance if you include it in the price.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Left Handed Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty

Left Handed Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 1991 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty (Lefty) I'm selling my Left handed 91' Les Paul Custom. She's in immaculate shape. This truly is a player's guitar. She's broke in and sounds amazing. If you're a player you'll want this guitar, she's tried and true. If you want a guitar you just keep in a case under your bed, then buy something new. New guitars don't sound like ones that have been played their whole lives. This little lady has TONE for days. She's one of the heavier Customs you run across, too (12lbs, pre sound chambering). It's never been dropped, damaged or repaired. I teched for years so it has been religiously set up and maintained. There is minimal player wear and tear on her considering her age. The binding has turned yellow (which looks really cool and vintage), the hardware has a little oxidizing, and the finish is begining to check. The holidays are right around the corner and all the Lefties are on the hunt. I'm a lefty and i know how tough it is to find a great guitar and once it's gone, it's gone, you'll be hard pressed to find another like it.All original hardwareP/U'sP/U coversStoptail pieceTuner machinesPotsBridge and SaddlesFretsIncludes hard case Thanks for looking and Good Luck biddingPlease feel free to email me with questions you might have or for contact info and I'll be glad to talk to you about it via phone.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: '03 First Year Gibson USA Supreme Les Paul Highly Flamed Electric Guitar w/OHSC

'03 First Year Gibson USA Supreme Les Paul Highly Flamed Electric Guitar w/OHSC Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: '03 First Year Gibson USA Supreme Les Paul Highly Flamed Electric Guitar w/OHSC '03 First Year Gibson USA Supreme Les Paul Highly Flamed Electric Guitar w/OHSCWelcome bidders, you are bidding on an insanely cool piece! This is the First Year 2003 Gibson USA Les Paul Supreme. 24.75" scale. 1 11/16" nut width. Serial #: 02053639. 8.8 lbs. The Gibson Supreme is one of the finest designs in the history of guitar. Featuring a highly flamed carved top and back and a chambered mahogany body, this one has a beautiful look and a sound all its own. The chambering, combined with the 2.29" thick body, adds an acoustic resonance to the tone. Big and warm while still retaining that infamous Gibson midrange. Grabbing up that sweet tone are the Gibson 490/498 pickups. The 498 is one of Gibsons highest output pickups- offering incredible crunch for rhythm and leadwork- while still retaining the classic PAF vibe. The 490 neck pickup brings gorgeous, thick sustain to the table. The ultimate Gibson tone. The mahogany neck is .89" thick with a 60's feel to it. Very comfortable. The ebony board and gold frets complete the neck- offering a great feel and a gorgeous look. Speaking of looks- just check the pics. The original '03 Supremes have an incredible flame to the top and back. Add to that the abalone inlays, beautiful binding, and gold hardware and you have a guitar that truly deserves the Supreme moniker. Limited to just 2003 guitars total, this is a truly rare find. This beauty is in excellent condition- a small chip(pic) and the lacquer around the headstock inlay has shrunk a but- typical on the Supremes- nothing that affects the tone or playability whatsoever. The frets are clean- this was just professionally setup with action of just about 3/32" at the 12th fret low E. This auction includes the original hardshell case. Les Paul Guitars Auction: 1960 GIBSON MELODY MAKER 2PU JUNIOR SB LES PAUL VINTAGE ELECTRIC GUITAR & CASE!

1960 GIBSON MELODY MAKER 2PU JUNIOR SB LES PAUL VINTAGE ELECTRIC GUITAR & CASE! Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Untitled DocumentItem DetailsFor your consideration is this vintage, 100% All Original, 1960 Gibson Melody Maker electric guitar. This particular full-size example, serial number 09860, is in near mint 100% original vintage cosmetic condition and includes; the original Gibson hang tag, the original leather strap, the original cable, a capo, vintage Gibson pics and the original soft shell case! Recently purchased from the original owner's family, this single-cutaway/double-pickup version is the rarest, and perhaps best, variety of all the possible Melody Maker configurations. Similar examples have sold in the past for over $4,000.00, so take advantage of this No Reserve auction with FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING, as the highest bidder will win regardless of price!Serial Number: 0 9860Pot Codes: 1346023Weight: 5 lbs. 12 oz.Pickup Resistance: Neck = 6.62Ω/Bridge =6.62ΩThis '60 Melody Maker features:- (2) single-coil pickups- a 24 3/4 scale length (full size)- slab Mahogany body- 3-tone nitrocellulose Sunburst finish-light-weight wrap-around bridge-large '59-style profile mahogany neck- Brazilian rosewood fingerboard - factory large frets- gold-insert reflector knobsAs previously mentioned, this guitar is in extremely excellent 100% all original condition and includes tons of original case candy. Additionally, this very fine example sounds and feels as good as it looks. Finding a better preserved example would be nearly impossible, so take advantage of this rare opportunity to buy one of the finest classic 2-pickup 1959-body style Melody Makers on eBay with a No Reserve auction! This guitar has a perfectly straight neck, and the frets display absolutely no playing wear. The only notable neck wear is that on the bass side edge (where binding would appear) caused by the included capo. There is one ding on the top accompanied by a noticeable scratch near the controls, but the body is otherwise pristine. The only wear on the guitar appears to be caused by miscellaneous items floating in the case. Both pickups are perfectly matched and were measured indicating an identical amount of resistance. The guitar sounds surprisingly great, and is highly enjoyable and quite usable. Perfect for both vintage guitar collectors, vintage players and modern enthusiasts, this is the one to buy. ...Remember, this guitar was made by the same craftsmen who sculpted those very special '60 Les Paul Standards, and while it is not nearly as exquisite, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.Since the Melody Maker was considered a budget guitar, it is actually moderately rare that early single-cut examples featured two pickups rather than one, as it cost slightly more than it's inferior single pickup counterpart. This first generation Melody Maker (made between 1958-1961) was the closest with regard to resembling a Les Paul, as the design quickly adopted a double-cutaway design, which it retained until it was discontinued some years later. Please take time to enjoy all 97 photos, and do not hesitate to ask any questions! Thanks!Payment DetailsI accept Paypal, and I have my account arranged so that you can pay with all credit cards, as well as, fund the purchase directly through your bank account. If someone local is interested in this item, I can facilitate other types of secure payment. Please inquire.Shipping DetailsSince this item is both fragile and sensitive, I will box it professionally with all new packing materials. It will also be shipped with insurance in the amount of the total sale.FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING... ANYWHERE.

There is some very mild belt buckling on the back, light tarnishing to the gold parts. No issues. One of the knobs appears to be replaced. The stamped Pat# pickups read in at 7.54k (bridge) and 7.78k (neck) and have been dialed in for output and tone. The neck is straight and the frets show little if any wear. This allowed me to set her up (10/46's) with very low action. I also adjusted the intonation so it plays in tune up and down the neck. The neck is medium size wise and has a shallow C profile and plays very fast. It ships in its original Gibson Hardshell case as shown, which is very clean as well. NO RESERVE! The guy loved the guitar and begged me to sell it to him sans the tax. Sorry, but I'm not Amazon.com and I have to collect taxes if sold in California. One thing we and the winning bidder both agreed on, it is a good one. Up for the taking in a NO RESERVE AUCTION is a 1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior that is 100% Original and is in Excellent Condition. This one has a P-90 that reads 9.49k and screams like a pissed off girfriend, but can get as mellow as a purring cat. Then factor in that it weighs under 7lbs! The original cherry finish retains most of its original color and there are only a couple of dings on it. There are 3 capo scars on the back of the neck that go to the bare wood. The neck is a tweener as it isn't wimpy at all, but clearly not a 59 round C neck. It measures .84" at the 1st fret and gets to .89" at the 12th fret. It is 1 11/16ths at the nut. The frets are original and in great shape with lots of meat on them. As you can see the neck is straight and the action low. I set it up with 10/46's and dialed in the intonation. It weighs under 7'lbs, has a killer neck, a hot P-90 and is all original, enough said! It ships in a newer SKB Molded Plastic Case as shown. The winning bidder pays $65.00 to pack, ship, insure within the lower 48 States via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery. NO HIDDEN SHIPPING CHARGESWINNING BIDDERS FROM CALIFORNIA WILL BE CHARGED 8.75% SALES TAX IN ABSENCE OF A VALID CALIFORNIA RESALE NUMBER. This black beauty plays effortlessly with superb tone and sustain. It has had a pro headstock repair and possibly a neck reset. The work was done years ago and it was done well. There is overspray on the back of the headstock and a small amount at the neck socket. There is also some finish touch up at the bridge posts. The tuners, nut, jackplate and knobs are not original. Everything else appears to be original including the frets which have plenty of life left in them. This 10 pound LP has the pancake body with a mahogany neck. It shows moderate play wear with a fair amount of nicks, dings, scratches and hardware fading. The neck is straight and the action is low. Comes with a non original TKL hardshell case. Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Axcess with Floyd Rose

Gibson Les Paul Axcess with Floyd Rose Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: New/excellent condition. Only played a few times. Ice Tea burst and Floyd RoseThe new Les Paul Axcess Standard from Gibson Custom carries all the elegant styling, fluid body lines and rocking attitude of a classic Les Paul Standard from the golden era of the late 1950s. Upon closer examination, however, the Les Paul Axcess reveals a handful of upgrades -- all modifications made in the name of maximum playability and versatility.Body and NeckEncounter the clever structural alteration that gives this new model its name by taking the instrument in your hands and running your fingers up the neck. The Axcess sports what looks from the front to be a traditional Les Paul neck joint, yet the neck heel and portions of the back and neck joint at the upper cutaway have been contoured to provide a "heelless" feel, and an unimpeded reach right up to the 22nd fret. No more stretching against the traditional neck heel to achieve the upper-fret access that your lead style demands -- the Axcess gives you that legendary Les Paul playability all the way up the neck, welcoming you to take it right over the top. The one-piece, 24 3/4" scale length, mahogany neck features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid fingerboard inlays. To further enhance playing comfort, this smoothly carved neck joint is combined with a "belly scarf" (aka ribcage contour) that allows the body of the guitar to hug closely to your own body in the playing position without digging in. Add to these contours the Les Paul Axcess's slightly thinner body, made from weight-relieved mahogany - with a carved maple top available in Iced Tea Burst finish and single-ply cream binding on body top - and you've got an instrument that is refreshingly light, and a pure joy to play either strapped on, or in a seated position. The HardwareThe most noticeable addition is the Floyd Rose tailpiece, a unit optimized for anything from subtle vibrato wobbles to dramatic, rumbling divebombs. On the Les Paul Axcess Standard the vibrato is installed right at Gibson Custom as part of the manufacturing process, which means this potent piece of high-performance hardware interacts seamlessly with the design of the guitar. Partnered with an R4 locking nut, it also guarantees outstanding tuning stability and return-to-pitch accuracy. The Les Paul Axcess now comes juiced with two super hot Gibson pickups, the 498T and the 496R. These forces to reckoned with pickups yield numerous tonal opportunities and can help drive your favorite amp to ultra crunch and scorching - leads in addition to providing ballsy blues tones, warm - fluid vocal tones, snappy country, and fat - sweet growls. This is possible because these extraordinary, hot pickups are wired in hum cancelling series/parallel with a push/pull tone knob for each, providing even more tonal combinations than the first version Les Paul Axcess Standard. Simply pull up the treble and/or rhythm tone control knobs to "axcess" single coil tones and experiment with combining full humbucking with single coil tones. These unique tonal combinations excel at delivering everything from singing classic rock lead tones to contemporary crunch to extremes of twang and jangle. Even the pure-nickel wound .10-.46 Gibson Vintage Strings it ships with contribute toward its rich, textured voice. Each instrument also comes with a Gibson Custom hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.

The only majorchange to the Gibson Les Paul "Sunburst" in 1959 was the addition ofwider, fatter jumbo frets which facilitated more dramatic bends. Thereal force of this change was not felt until the late 1960s when rockand blues players like Eric Clapton, Mike Bloomfield, and Peter Greenbegan to discover the fat, warm voice of the '59 Les Paul which theydubbed "Sunburst." Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Traditional plus. Desert Burst. New. No Reserve.

Gibson Les Paul Traditional plus. Desert Burst. New. No Reserve. Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Up for auction is a brand new Gibson Les Paul Traditional Plus in Desert Burst.Beautiful looking and playing guitar.Serial #S015338 I think, it's hard to read.Comes with hard case.No Reserve. With all the fat, sweet, snarling Les Paul tone that purists love, the Traditional plays, sounds, and feels like the Les Pauls that today's players grew up loving and lusting after. Taking design and visual cues from the Les Pauls of the '80s and '90s, the Les Paul Traditional starts with a Grade-A mahogany body and adds nine strategically placed traditional weight-relief holes for a beefy tone that maintains the resonance of modern Les Pauls, while losing a large portion of the weight. This is capped with a maple top, giving the Les Paul Traditional the look of the great Les Pauls that helped to bring rock back to the front of the stage in the mid '80s. Capping the Traditional with a maple top not only looks great, but it also brings out presence and definition to the tone. With the look of the great Les Paul Standards that helped to make rock king again, and every ounce of the tone thanks to legendary Gibson construction, classic tonewoods, and two genuine humbucking pickups, the Les Paul Traditional is the guitar to take your music center stage where it belongs.
