Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2010 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Historic LP59 IceTea VOS AMAZING Flametop $1 NO ReSrv

2010 Gibson Les Paul 1959 Historic LP59 IceTea VOS AMAZING Flametop $1 NO ReSrv Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: HOLY COW< YES Opening bid $1 and NO RESERVE. Well, the issue is TAX MAN time and I need to get my wife off my back too. SO, I'm offering this to highest bidder so GO NUTS and HAVE FUN, my my what a killer guitar!!!This is an AS NEW, just bought and stored away condition 2010 Gibson Les Paul Historic 1959 VOS IceTea, which is has an amazing tight Tiger Flame top with NO DEAD SPOTS from any angle. Weighs an incredible 8 lbs with no weight relief or chambering!!! Yes, you're right, I shouldn't be selling this since Gibson's new 59s are being made differently now, starting in 2012. The rosewood fretboard is now laminated and not the traditional solid rosewood. Wonder what else they are doing differently with the new reissues? Just imaine what the price and collectiblity of the past Historics will be now that wood shortage is causing manufacturing changes!!!!Has the Certificate, hang tags, and Gibson Case. VERY COOL GUITAR!!The street price these is $5900!!! WOW, killer deal. Will be shipped in its original Gibson box well packed and secure.Fixed UPS ground shipping of $45 in continental USA. Other locations pay based on final destination and service requested. International bidder REMEMBER shipping is very expensive. I usually use USPS Global Express which hits around $170 except for Australia where I used FedEx which runs about $200 depending on insurance. However, some countries have size restrictions which the guitar box exceeds, so the Airmail Prioity service is next to use, but it takes longer, but is cheaper. Also, some countries have limited insurance by USPS (like max of $500 or $650), so be aware of the details. Thanks.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: 1993 Gibson Les Paul 1960 Pre-Historic Flametop Reissue

1993 Gibson Les Paul 1960 Pre-Historic Flametop Reissue Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: For sale here is a really nice 1993 Gibson Les Paul Pre-Historic Reissue in Heritage Dark Sunburst finish. This is one of the last Pre-historic Reissue made before Gibson started the Historic reissue around the Spring of 1993. Another special thing about this guitar is that is was made for Yamano Music of Japan. This says a lot about this guitar since all guitars made for them were hand selected and went through a intensive and thorough quality inspection. For a 19 year old guitar, the condition of this guitar is outstanding. It is still in very glossy, super clean condition. It is used but not abuse so it does have some minor dings and surface scratches here in there. A pickguard was never installed and there are no screw holes for it. Everything is original with no breaks or repair. Guitar weighs 8.89 Lbs on my digital postal scale. It is equipped with the original Gibson '57 Classics pickups. The neck on this is slim just like any '60 Reissue. It will be shipped in a its original Brown Gibson case, well packed and insured. I have sold numerous guitars here before and have 100% positive feedback so you can buy with confidence. Send me a message if you have any questions. Thanks for looking. The Les PaulReissue/Flametop:copy of 1959 Les Paul Standard, deep-dish top carving, highly flamed maple top, plastic jack plate, binding inside cutaway same depth as other top binding, nomodel name on truss rod cover, inked-on 1950's-style serial number with 1stdigit corresponding to last digit of year (earliest with 9 as first digit, standard 8 digit serial number in control cavity), heritage cherry sunburst, heritage darkburst, or goldtop finish: Introduced in 1983 RenamedLes Paul '59 Flametop Reissue (with thick 1959-style neck) and Les Paul"60 Reissue Flametop (with thin-profile Les Paul Classic style neck): bylate 1991 "Replica"model with more accurate reproduction of originals, smaller peghead, elongatedneck tenon (visible under neck pick-up), floor of control cavity routedparallel to top of guitar, serial number beginning with 9 or 0 (for '59 or '60respectively), 1st digit after space corresponds to build year, R9 or R0stamped in control cavity: 1993

Les Paul Guitars Auction: GIBSON LES PAUL TRADITIONAL PRO

GIBSON LES PAUL TRADITIONAL PRO Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Please read entire add carefully before bidding. I have for auction this 2011 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro. Color is Honeyburst, has 50s neck profile, Chrome Pickup covers have been profesionally installed for looks only. Under the Chrome covers are the Black/White coil original Pickups. Everything else is original from the factory specs. The Guitar has one small flaw in the finish which you can see in the pictures. It is on the top just above the bridge pickup. This occurred at the store where the guitar was bought new. I t is a small area where the finish was rubbed off down to the wood i was told it was a bump accident. The shop luthier did a small laquer repair on the area to make the area smooth. This is barely noticeable and it is the only thing that keeps this guitar from being New condition. PLEASE get all your questions answered BEFORE you bid. This is a no return item but believe me you would not want to return it anyway. This is a beautiful guitar and plays and sounds Fantastic but the finish is not 100% perfect. The flaw in the finish did not affect my decision to buy it at all as it is such a great instrument. I am not a professional ebayer or Guitar Dealer. I am a guy who has to many Guitars and need to sell this one. The Guitar has push pull pots to coil tap the pickups so that they can be played as single coil or Humbuckers which makes it very versatile. If you are not familiar with this model you can check out the Gibson website an youtube. Email me for questions regarding this auction. I am an honest seller with 100% positive feedback. This auction is for USA only. No international shipping. This a no reserve auction. The high bidder will get to buy this Guitar so don't bid if your not serious. Good Luck! On Apr-25-12 at 04:07:39 PDT, seller added the following information:REMINDER, AS THE DESCRIPTION SAYS AND AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES THIS GUITAR HAS A SMALL DAMAGED SPOT ON THE TOP. Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960

Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960 Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Selling my beloved Ginson Les Paul Classic 1960 reissue. The guitar is about 12 years old and has been treated extremely well all its life, gigged very little, never been dropped, mostly a stay-home guitar. This guitar is gorgeous, it is an unusual one due to the highly figured top and the black back, you don't see Classics with tops like this very often. Everything is original except the pickups, which have been replaced with Zebra Seymour Duncan Antiquity JB/Jazz, the tone is incredible and a BIG upgrade over the stock. Original pickups are included, they are not too shabby either... Originals have been furbished with aged nickel covers which match the lightly naturally aged hardware (see last photo). Fret wear is minimal and the neck has a 60 thin profile. The "1960" has been rubbed off the original pickguard. The original case has never been locked. Guitar is either chambered or swiss-cheesed, quite light for a Les Paul, if I had to guess I'd say 8 lbs.The condition of the guitar is not pristine, there is some fading of the top finish and some marks and light dings/scratces that I tried hard to capture on camera. No dings that go though the paint, neck is ding/scratch free and straight. No breaks or signs of abuse. I rarely play LP's anymore and I have to pay for the Tele I just bought. Will ship to US address only. Paypal only. Please ask all questions before bidding, as there will be no returns on this items. If you need more pics let me know and I'll do a closeup on whatever you'd like to see.Someone will be very happy with this guitar, it roars as it sings, light enough to play forever, and sooo beautiful...Happy bidding!

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus*Trans Ebony Burst*Mint*2011*NO RESERVE*

Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus*Trans Ebony Burst*Mint*2011*NO RESERVE* Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus*Trans Ebony Burst*Mint*2011*NO RESERVE* *NO RESERVE*Up for auction is a 2011 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus in mint condition. This all original beauty has smooth playability with superb tone and incredible sustain. There are no dings, splits, cracks, breaks orrepairs anywhere on this 9 pound gem. This axe has less than two hours of playing time on it! The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are in excellent shape. Comes with the original hardshell case, pickguard and case candy. The serial number is 132710396. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions afterviewing all of the photos. International shipping rates are listed below. Goodluck!Carved maple top and mahogany bodyThe Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus features a traditional, non-chambered mahogany body known for killer tone and sustain. In 1958, the Les Paul went from a simple gold-finished, painted top to a cherry sunburst finish over a carved maple two-piece top. The carved top was one fo the features that set the Les Paul apart from the "competition." The Les Paul Classic Plus features a gorgeous AA figured Western maple cap that will be the envy of your friends. Baked maple fingerboardThe Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus sports a baked maple fingerboard. Baking the wood in a special oven makes the wood water resistant, hard and stable (perfect for fingerboards), with snap and attack similar to ebony - but with a more traditional appearance. As no chemicals are used, the process also earth-friendly. Always an innovator, Gibson - in the face of tightening world supplies of certain woods - again shows its leadership in materials engineering in the quest for new and improved tonewoods for its guitars. Two fat, smoking humbuckersWhen you really want to cook on a solo or deliver some thunderous power chords, you reach for a guitar that's got a pair of humbuckers, right? Forget all those thin "out-of-phase" guitar sounds that the session players overused in the 1980s and (sad to say) right through much of the '90s. That's not for you. Your sound is all about the warmth, punch and midrange complexity you can only get from a pair of Gibson humbuckers. The Les Paul Classic Plus comes with a pair of chrome covered 'buckers: a 496R in the neck position and a 500T in the bridge position for uncompromising power, whether you're playing rhythm or digging into a solo.Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus Electric Solidbody Guitar Features:Mahogany BodyAA figured Western maple topCarved topMahogany neck'50s neck profileBaked maple fingerboardTune-O-Matic bridgeVintage style tunersCeramic 496R and 500T HumbuckersHardshell caseShips within the continental USA via UPS Ground for$49Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is $90 via USPSShipping Puerto Rico is $65 via USPSShips internationally via USPS PriorityInternationalInternationalshipping rates are:Australia-$165.00Canada-$85.00South America-$125.00Europe-$120.00Mexico-$85.00Asia-$125.00Africa-$150.00Middle East-$145.00United Kingdom-$95.00 _gsrx_vers_468 (GS 6.4 (468))

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson USA Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop Reissue w/case 2005

Gibson USA Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop Reissue w/case 2005 Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Available today is a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop. Perhaps you remember this guitar...Here's what Gibson has to say about the Les Paul Deluxe:Throughout the classic-rock era of the 1970s, if you mentioned "Les Paul" to a guitarist they usually heard "Deluxe." Made in the image of the original single-cutaway set-neck Les Paul Standard of 1958 to '60 but with a pair of mini-humbucking pickups for the brighter, more cutting tone that many players were demanding, the Les Paul Deluxe ruled the roost for the better part of a decade, and found an enduring place in the hearts of guitarists and collectors alike that has held fast ever since. To quote Omar: "Indeed". The Les Paul Deluxe is the sound of the 70s: tons classic rock music was created with these guitars - you've heard them on lots of famous recordings - and they were used on concert stages by everyone from Pete Townshend to Jerry Garcia. These things rock like nobody's business.Gibson has made a few variations of the Les Paul Deluxe, often as special runs for individual dealers, sometimes as a regular catalog item. Here a rundown of the features of this model:All-Mahogany non-sandwich body (like original '68 model)Maple Top (common to most variations)Nitrocellulose Lacquer finishRosewood Fingerboard (common to all but the most modern variations, now they use something I've never heard of)No Neck Volute (like original '68 model)Trapezoid Fingerboard InlaysOne piece Mahogany neck (I think that this is a more modern innovation, circa 2005. Early models had 3 piece necks, first Mahogany, then Maple)Mini Humbuckers (one of the defining features of the model)Inlaid Gibson Headstock logoGold silkscreened Les Paul Model on headstock face"Deluxe" engraved truss rod coverExposed Maple top in cutaway (like original '68 model)Vintage-style Gibson Deluxe TunersThe neck has what I would call a 50s profile. Not huge, but definitely more to it that a slim-taper 60s neck. The serial number indicates that this guitar was manufactured in 2005. All of this adds up to a really great rendition of this model with all of the most desirable features.About the stock mini-humbuckers, Gibson has this to say:All the ringing resonance and sustain wrought by these ingredients are transmitted to the amp with optimum depth and clarity by a pair of Gibson's legendary mini-humbucking pickups. The Les Paul Deluxe mini-humbuckers are made much like full-sized PAF-style humbuckers with genuine Alnico II magnets but with narrower coils and slightly fewer turns of wire for a sharper, more focused sound. They are perfect for cutting through a heavy band mix, while also going confidently into twangy and jangly genres that Les Pauls aren't usually thought to excel at, without sacrificing any of the depth and muscle that makes a great Les Paul what it is. The mini humbuckers actually make for a much more versatile guitar than full-sized humbuckers. You can dial back the bite and clarity with the tone knob, but you can't add it when it isn't there. "Mini" does not equate to small here. These pickups definitely sound like humbuckers, with some additional clarity coming from the narrower aperture. With a loud amp, this all adds up to classic crunch and singing sustain there for you to call upon at will. This example is in great condition, almost new looking. There are a few very small micro-scratches in the otherwise glass-like surface of the peghead facing that are only visible if you get the light just right. These are just from changing strings, that's how minor it is, I mention it to be conservative, because it does detract from absolute perfection. It may have come from the factory like that. Other than that, no scratches or dings in the finish. No damage or repairs. No funny business of any kind. I played this a few times in my studio, but it's been barely touched, and it shows. The natural finish of the back really shows the beautiful piece of Mahogany that Gibson chose for this guitar. Nice job, guys. The hardware is shiny. There is a very minor smudge on the very end of the switch tip, which appears to have come from contact with the case shroud. It may be cleanable - I will leave that for you to explore. It is very minor. The new owner may decide to remove the shroud, I will leave it for now. The combination of the very glossy finish and the metallic lacquer gold top makes this guitar very difficult to photograph. There are no dings or other marks on the top or elsewhere - there are some reflections on some of the photos. I have tried to include pictures from a variety of angles and under a variety of lighting so that you can see just how great it is.The original case is included and is in great condition. A couple of scuffs, a little gunk from where the "Made in Canada" (yes, the cases are made in Canada) sticker peeled off, nothing bad. Still shiny. The black satin shroud is in near-new condition and is still attached. Please note, as mentioned above, the end of the switch tip has a small amount of discoloration which appears to have come from contact with the shroud. You may decide to remove the shroud when you get this guitar. The little red plastic tab is still in the case's combination lock dials, and the combination has never been set. There is a variety of documentation inside the case pocket. This is a near-new example of what is probably the nicest configuration of the Les Paul Deluxe that Gibson has ever produced. They (literally) do not make them like this anymore. This guitar is a rock classic, and now it can be yours. This is a used guitar and is sold as-is. Please ask all questions before bidding. Please note: I expect payment by PayPal within 4 days of the close of the auction, per EBay policy. Please make sure that you can pay for this item using PayPal within 4 days of the auction close before you bid. Thank you very much!

Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom - Black Beauty

2009 Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom - Black Beauty Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: This here is a Les Paul Custom Black Beauty from 2009. I was told that 2009 was the last year that they did the Customs without any chambering. Nowadays you have to spend $5-6k for a solid piece of Mahogany like this guitar is made of. Also has the soon to be rare ebony fretboard. Neck and action are perfect and it, of course, sustains for days.Guitar has some buckle rash (a shame, I know, but it's also nice to just strap it on and rock out without putting on your long cashmere sweater first!) and a few marks on the back but the part that the audience sees is perfect (save for some minor surface swirls visible only in the right light). Plays like a beast but I'm more of a strat and tele guy so it's looking for a new home. Comes with COA and all other case candy in a Gibson Custom Shop Case.Neck is probably a "slim" but has a medium feel, definitely not a baseball bat but there's plenty to hold on to. Almost no fret wear on the guitar. Guitar weight a little over 8 pounds.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Alex Lifeson Model Floyd Rose Axcess Piezo Cut Away MINT

Gibson Les Paul Alex Lifeson Model Floyd Rose Axcess Piezo Cut Away MINT Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: You are bidding on a Gibson Les Paul Alex Lifeson Model guitar in Royal Crimson. I purchased the guitar from the original owner who bought it new from Musicians Friend on 10/31/11. It is a low number and the highly flamed body is finished in the rich, glossy Royal Crimson. The guitar has been played very little with no noticeable wear or appearance flaws. Although I do not have the weight it is surprisingly comfortable with the belly cut and cutaway at the neck joint enabling the player to hit all notes up the neck with ease.I am selling because I need to raise money for a custom guitar I am having built so some of my collection must be sold as a result. The guitar includes wrenches, tremelo bar, and certificate of authenticity.Play Gibson's Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess solidbody electric guitar and find out firsthand what an astounding tonal tool the Rush axemaster has at his disposal. This beautiful LP has it all: a gorgeous figured maple top, a classic mahogany body, a slim-taper neck design, and amazing Gibson humbucking pickups. But this Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess throws a few great curves, including the piezo-equipped Floyd Rose/Graphtech Ghost trem bridge, the mortise/tenon neck joint, and the series/parallel feature built into the control knobs. You get premium appointments, quality hardware, and "Axcess" to tones you've only dreamed of getting out of a Les Paul - until now. Here's an unbeatable opportunity to get the Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess for yourself!Gibson Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess Soldibody Electric Guitar Features:Color: Royal CrimsonBody Material: Mahogany Back/Figured Maple TopNeck Material: MahoganyNeck Profile: SlimTaper DNeck Joint: Mortise/Tenon, Scarfed in CutawayFrets: 22, Medium-JumboNut: Graphtech LockingNut Width: 1.687"Scale: 24.75"Pickups:496R (neck), 498T (bridge), Fast Track Ghost LB63 piezo pickups (bridge saddles)Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone (Push/Pull for Series Parallel on Both Pickups), 3-way ToggleHardware: NickelTuners: Vintage-style Single Band Green KeysBridge: Floyd Rose/Graphtech Ghost LB63 TremKnobs: Gold Top Hats (Volume/Tone)Case: Harshell Case Included (Signature Custom Shop Hard Case)You are purchasing this USA Gibson Alex Lifeson edition guitar as is. Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul iced tea Flame burst Traditional

Gibson Les Paul iced tea Flame burst Traditional Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Selling off my Gibson Les Paul Traditional Tea Burst. Purchased it New from Guitar Center. It's not been played more than 5 minutes total. Never gigged, only left the case a handful of times. In perfect Mint condition. Comes with Gibson USA Hard case Plus hanging tags, owners manual and other fun case candy. Even still has the tags on the case. Comes to you shipped in a Gibson Shipping box (how cool is that?) I used to work for Guitar Center and during that time I purchased more guitars than I will ever know what to do with. This guitar is one of them. Starting auction @ $0.99 NO RESERVE so here's your chance to own one of these at a great price! Check my other items for sale as I have some very cool hard to find gear also up for grabs!I have done everything I can to show the flame pattern and color of finish in the top of the guitar. It's quite unique. It looks different in every type of light and every different angle. I've had people say "It looks more like a cherry Burst than an iced tea" and I've also been told "wow, it looks more like a tobacco burst than an Iced Tea" again... I've tried my best to show this in the pictures. Lots of flames and very unique looking top. Some of the Traditional model Les Pauls have been "chambered" .... this is NOT ONE OF THOSE MODELS. It is heavy like a les paul should be.Everything is in excellent working order and this guitar plays and sounds like a Million Dollars. On Apr-14-12 at 10:06:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Added a few more pictures today. It was noticed that a small piece of lint was on the body of the guitar in one of the pictures. So I added two pictures to show that this is not a "Ding" on the guitar. Hope this helps!

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Rare 1976 Gibson Les Paul Standard Natural Finish All Original Airline Gig Bag

Rare 1976 Gibson Les Paul Standard Natural Finish All Original Airline Gig Bag Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: THE PART I HATE--PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE A POST OFFICE BOX--UPS WILL NOT DELIVER TO THEM--PLEASE DO NOT BID WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST IF YOU HAVE 1.) LESS THAN 10 PERFECT FEEDBACKS, 2.) LIVE IN CANADA, 3.) DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT WITH ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT--WE CAN WORK WITH THIS BUT I NEED T0 HEAR FROM YOU--THANKS.I keep a core collection of about 30 guitars and seldom sell out of it--then there's another 20 or so guitars i buy just to play for awhile and re-sell--usually i lose money on the re-sale so i look at the loss as the cost of renting the guitar of my interest--once in a while i'll clear a profit which is great--but i'm not a re-seller--at least not in the classic sense and if i were i'd probably be considered the world's worse since i usually lose money on the re-sale. But i do get to play a whole lot of interesting instruments. Being retired has its advantages.I make it a policy to never sell a guitar that has not been completely gone over by my luthier prior to offering it--i hate buying an instrument from someone who doesn't know about guitars but thinks that it looks pretty--i'm also not an expert--so i make sure everything i sell--unless otherwise noted--is cleaned, polished, new strings, electronics checked and adjusted if necessary, frets checked, fretboard oiled, neck angle checked, intonation optimized (for my preferences) and black lighted for any previous repairs or damage by my luthier--this costs me $100 but it is well worth the peace of mind that comes with offering an instrument you know is going to be well received. If he finds something i either fix it or note it in the item description. From the Gibson Site:- From 1975-1977 the number is typically found on a decal on the back of the headstock. This should be an 8 digit number that can be dated by the 1st and 2nd digits as follows: 99 = 1975 00= 1976 06 = 1977 Here's a quote "The Standard was not in production from 1971 through 1975. They were only available by special order only. In 1976 Gibson re-introduced the standard, and only 26 were manufactured. You will see a few 76's with the "Standard" truss rod cover, but if you look at the back of the headstock it will say " Les Paul Deluxe" and the serial number will NOT have a number starting with "00". The other determining factor,(besides the large patent number pickups) is the 4 piece pancake body. The production numbers are available in the Gibson Guitar Book. Some day the rarity of this guitar will come to light and I expect the value to rise considerably. If you look at the pricing of the Standards of the late fifties, another limited run, you will see that they are the highest priced production models of Les Pauls. The 2007 Vintage Guitar Price Guide lists this at $2500.00 to $3300.00. It may have gone up in the 2009 guide, I would expect that. The search for the perfect les paul neck/weight distribution continues. This is a 1976 Les Paul Standard--as they go it's not as heavy as some but it's more than heavy enough for me coming in a bit more than 9 pounds. The neck is nice--not as chunky as the 50s necks and not quite as slender as the 60s necks--the neck is just right--but the weight is more than i enjoy at 64 hanging around my neck for a couple hours or more--so on it goes. These are very rare guitars--the Standard was brought back by Gibson (thanks Ace Frehley) in 1976 but according to Gibson only 26 were produced that first year--this is one of them--it has the "00" at the beginning of the serial number as well as "Standard" on the headstock--as well as the pancake body--it's going to increase dramatically in value once it hits the 40 year old mark and right now is still a highly desirable collectable. Not to mention that it's a full bore sledge hammer of a rock and roll and blues monster. It comes with an extremely heavy duty airline gig bag--wonderful bag almost as good as a hard case and way more portable. To my knowledge it's all original. It has some beautiful finish checking in the patina of the finish--really stunning as well as a little of this on the back and neck--it just adds to its appeal--remember this is not a reissue but a genuine lester from the first year the Standard was brought back--it's now 36 years old.Not much to report--there's no cracks or repairs--there's a ding on the headstock which is pictured in a close up--some minor worming on the back again--pictured to the degree that's possible--it's an 8 out of 10 roughly speaking cosmetically but it's a solid 10 sound wise--it rocks--it's a les paul standard from 1976--that about says it all.Oh yes--the plastic mount around the jack is cracked but solid--again--this is shown clearly in one of the scans. No hidden issues--everything known revealed--just a great classic vintage Lester.Shipping is an estimate only so please waituntil i send you an invoice--once i have a zip code i can be precise and anyover payment will always be refunded. I live in the furthest north westcorner of the US so the east coast is very expensive--the estimate is for eastcoast--if you live in the midwest or west coast it will be incrementally lessexpensive. Again--actual receipt can be provided by scan for verificationof shipping charges upon request. PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT NOR WILL NOTSHIP USPS BECAUSE OF UN-REFUNDED DAMAGES INCURRED IN THE PAST. I ONLYSHIP UPS.I have perfect feedback in over 3000 transactions--mostly as an ebay seller ofstamps and philatelic material but in the last 3 years or so i've been sellingparts of my guitar collection and have sold well over 30 guitars with perfectfeedback for those sales as well. Bid with confidence that the item willbe as described and arrive in perfect working condition. With that said, because of abuses of my previous generous return policy, the item is sold "as is" with the exception of it being improperlydescribed -- i keep archival photos of all my guitars so comparisons can be made against any alleged damage---please ask questions beforeyou bid.--NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (TOOEXPENSIVE) WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CANADA--PLEASE EMAIL FIRST FOR RATESGUITAR IS FOR SALE OTHER PLACES AND I WILL ALSO ACCEPT VERY REASONABLE OFFERSCLOSE TO THE BUY IT NOW AMOUNT--NO PRESSURE TO SELL THIS ONE OTHER THAN A SORTOF DOWN SIZING--NO TRADES

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul Custom*Custom Shop*Mint*2008*Alpine White*NO RESERVE*

Gibson Les Paul Custom*Custom Shop*Mint*2008*Alpine White*NO RESERVE* Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Gibson Les Paul Custom*Custom Shop*Mint*2008*Alpine White*NO RESERVE* *NO RESERVE*Up for auction is an all original Gibson Les Paul Custom in mint condition. This beautiful Custom Shop LP has less than 4 hours of playing time on it. It has superb tone and sustain with incredible playability. There are no scratches, dings, splits, cracks, breaks orrepairs anywhere. Comes with the original hardshell case. There is no COA. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions after viewing allof the photos. International shipping rates are listed below. Good luck!Today's Les Paul Custom is based on the model from the mid-1950s, but with several modern appointments. The body is crafted with a hand-carved maple top, which is fitted to a body made from a solid piece of mahogany with strategically routed holes to lessen the weight of the guitar, resulting in a Les Paul with enhanced acoustic qualities and improved resonance. The 24 ¾-inch scale length neck is also made from one solid piece of mahogany then topped by a 22-fret ebony fingerboard and Gibson's traditional rounded profile. The pickups are Gibson's 490R in the neck position, which offers the tonal characteristics of the original PAFs, and the 498T in the bridge position, which swaps the 490R's Alnico II magnet for an Alnico V, thus making it slightly hotter with emphasis on mid-ranges and highs. Other appointments include Gibson's legendary Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, metal tulip tuners, multi-ply white and black binding on both the top and back, gold hardware and a 1 11/16" nut width. Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2000 Les Paul Classic Wine/Fire Engine Red Original Case Good+ Condition

2000 Les Paul Classic Wine/Fire Engine Red Original Case Good+ Condition Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: THE PART I HATE--PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE A POST OFFICE BOX--UPS WILL NOT DELIVER TO THEM--PLEASE DO NOT BID WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST IF YOU HAVE 1.) LESS THAN 10 PERFECT FEEDBACKS, 2.) LIVE IN CANADA, 3.) DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT WITH ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT--WE CAN WORK WITH THIS BUT I NEED T0 HEAR FROM YOU--THANKS.I keep a core collection of about 30 guitars and seldom sell out of it--then there's another 20 or so guitars i buy just to play for awhile and re-sell--usually i lose money on the re-sale so i look at the loss as the cost of renting the guitar of my interest--once in a while i'll clear a profit which is great--but i'm not a re-seller--at least not in the classic sense and if i were i'd probably be considered the world's worse since i usually lose money on the re-sale. The Serial Number is 009467 which makes this a 2000 Les Paul Classic.Another guitar i picked up from someone who needed the cash and i thought i'd have some fun for a short time with it--now it goes back into the gene pool--This is a 10 in terms of sound--it's everything you'd expect from a Les Paul and it can shred--it's great for punk or ska and of course rock and the blues--very versatile guitar with a nice neck--the neck is not the huge 50s style neck but a compromise between the slim 60s neck--more like the 30/60 Gibson is talking a lot about recently--i believe it has 496r humbucker (ceramic) in the neck position and 500t in the bridge position.Don'it know if the bridge is original--there's another bridge in the case that might be an extra or the original--no holes drilled--The guitar is in about 7--7.5 condition cosmetically--you can see in the scans--there's some worming on the back (i call it rash when it goes into the finbish--this doesn't)--not extreme but it's there--there's a small dent about half way down the neck that doesn't interfere with playing at all--binding is intact and solid, fretborad is smooth, frets have well over 2/rds of their life remaining, tuners original and excellent at holding tune--there's a tiny crack on the plastic mount on 2 screw w=for the jack plate--it's shown--i didn't notice it until i decided to sell it.It's a Lester--it's been played but never abused--it's an iconic rock and roll beast and any one looking likely knows that the Classics are very underrated except by layers. The finish is a wine red almost fire engine red in places with dark grain movement going on under the nitro--really beautiful guitar. The case is original but the tolex is worn down to the wood on the outside top part--the inside is excellent and the shroud is intact and works perfectly.Lastly--someone replaced the truss rod cover with a Standard cover--it's not a Standard--this can easily be replaced for about $15 but it never bothered me enough to do that.No hidden flaws--everything known about the guitar disclosed--beautiful instrument.Shipping is an estimate only so please waituntil i send you an invoice--once i have a zip code i can be precise and anyover payment will always be refunded. With that said, because of abuses of my previous generous return policy, the item is sold "as is" with the exception of it being improperlydescribed -- i keep archival photos of all my guitars so comparisons can be made against any alleged damage---please ask questions beforeyou bid.--NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (TOOEXPENSIVE) WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CANADA--PLEASE EMAIL FIRST FOR RATESGUITAR IS FOR SALE OTHER PLACES AND I WILL ALSO ACCEPT VERY REASONABLE OFFERSCLOSE TO THE BUY IT NOW AMOUNT--NO PRESSURE TO SELL THIS ONE OTHER THAN A SORTOF DOWN SIZING--NO TRADESOn Mar-26-12 at 18:59:57 PDT, seller added the following information: 1997 was the first production year for the Elegant--it's a 1997 because after 1999 "CS" proceeded the numbersOn Mar-26-12 at 21:07:39 PDT, seller added the following information: a few people have asked about the pickups--there was no routing done--the originals were PAFs which can be picked up should anyone want to have the original sound on ebay--the SDs dropped right into the same openingOn Mar-27-12 at 19:30:22 PDT, seller added the following information: oh yes--no pickguard--a hole is in place for the pickguard should the buyer want to add itOn Mar-30-12 at 09:01:35 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE IGNORE THE STUFF ABOUT THE ELEGANT--I USED A TEMPLATE AND FORGOT TO TAKE THAT INFORMATION AWAY AND NOW IT'S TOO LATE
