Vintage Gibson Les Paul Custom 1970 Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 1970 Les Paul Custom,I have been playing guitar for 35 years and this is the best sounding guitar I have ever played, I played professionally for several years in downtown Cleveland Oh and this was the guitar I used, this is a player guitar it has it's share of nicks and scratches and it also has the all too common Les Paul headstock repair, it was a mild crack and the repair was done professionally in 1988 and has not given me a bit of trouble since, I will ship the guitar with the Seymour Duncan pickups that are in it now but I will also include the original pickups that came with the guitar, The Guitar has the Made In USA stamped on the back of the neck along with serial number 101722, all the frets work well, and the tuners have long ago been replaced with Grovers, original hard shell case is included, I never wanted to sell this guitar but due to unforeseen medical issues I am forced too. If you have any questions please feel free to ask and Good Luck! Les Paul Guitars Auction: RARE 1979 GIBSON LES PAUL GUITAR TWEED CASE VERY NICE!!

RARE 1979 GIBSON LES PAUL GUITAR TWEED CASE VERY NICE!! Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 1979 GIBSON LES PAULNow this is a beautiful guitar that is ready for a new owner. It sounds and plays amazing as most Les Paul's do and the tone this guitar generates is absolutley beautiful. She is gig ready needing nothing. The action feels nice and generate nice harmonics. The pickups I believe are original but have not had them out. The surrounds on the pickups also seem flimsy and the tail piece looks to be new. Also the tuners are not original but are better for keeping the guitar in tune. The previous owner took very good care of this piece and it shows! It does have some buckle wear and a few small co-oberating knicks to the back which I tried to photograph but it's hard to see in the picture. They are there and noticable to the eye and need to be mentioned. There is also a small knick in the front about one inch to the left of the top pick up it to is barley visible via camera but it's there. There are also a few knicks from sitting the instrument down but they are not bad at all. It also has a type of phase switch which really gives a nice beautiful tone. As you see she has been played and the side of the neck shows you the use she has gotten. Please keep in mind this guitar is 30+ years old she has been around awhile but is still in great shape. We have listed this mentioning any and all positives and negatives. Please ask any questions you may have please be specific! Extra pictures available upon request. This is a beautiful Gibson and is 100% AUTHENTIC!!!The case says Gibson but I don't think it's an actual Gibson Product .No international shipping :Paypal only0 feedback bidders ps contact before placing a bidIt ships fully insured for the sale price plus shippingAll sales on this are AS-IS with NO RETURNS OFFERED OR ACCEPTEDQuestions on the authenticity? I can email pictures on under the back covers with the date of manufacture. Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Ebony - Brand New condition - Time capsule!

2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard Ebony - Brand New condition - Time capsule! Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Ebony finish. This guitar was purchased new the week of Christmas in 2005 by a wealthy female for her son-in-law and before she had the chance to give it to him, he betrayed the daughter and mom left it in the closet the last 6 years unplayed and never touched. The guitar is literally in brand new condition and not a single mark on it anywhere... flawless.... no excuses. Not even a mark on the frets and still has factory strings. The guitar has a nice neck profile that is somewhere between a 60's slim and the fat profile of my 2011 Traditional model. Probably what they considered a 50's neck in 2005.The guitar is completely stock and comes with the original hard shell case, which is in flawless conditon as well. All factory paperwork is included. If you could jump in a time machine and travel back to 2005 to buy a black Les Paul Standard, that would be cool... but instead of all that, just bid on this beauty because the end result is the same. A flawless case queen in factory new condition. Please check my feedback and bid with confidence! I primarily sell instruments on Ebay and will be very quick to answer any questions you may have. I only ask that payment be sent within 48 hours of the listing end via paypal. International customers can get a quote from www.ipsparcel.com Package size 44x7x17 and weight is 25lbs. Insurance required. On Sep-21-11 at 20:27:48 PDT, seller added the following information: The guitar weighs in just over 9lbs on the bathroom scale.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: Gibson Les Paul '68 Custom Koa w/Abalone Inlays THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GUITAR EVER!!

Gibson Les Paul '68 Custom Koa w/Abalone Inlays THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GUITAR EVER!! Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: After buying and selling (mostly buying) over 30 high-end guitars during the past decade, I am unfortunately forced to sell THE CROWN JEWEL OF MY COLLECTION!!! This listing is for a 2003 Gibson Custom Shop "Les Paul 1968 Custom Koa with Abalone Inlays"serial #CS3xxxxThis is an extremely limited edition guitar. I spoke with Gibson today and they believe there were only 3 of these ever made...just 3!!! I am the third owner of this particular guitar and you would be the fourth. Now for the guitar specs... Koa top (gorgeous wood grain features) Mahogany back and sidesAbalone Inlays (insane colors!!, despite my crappy camera pics), split-diamond headstock inlay and block fingerboard inlaysPickups = '57 Classic Humbuckersgold Grover tunersgold hardware1-piece Mahogany neck with long tenon'59 rounded neck profileABR-1 bridgeEbony fingerboardvintage-style volume and tone knobsPink Blanket Combo Guitar Case weight = 9-10 pounds, typical for a solidbodyplays like a dream with incredible toneThis guitar is in Dead-Mint condition!!!I just went over it and it is perfect. There is NOT ONE pick scratch on the front, the is NOT ONE scratch on the back, nor on the black plastic covers. The pickups show NO oxidation. There IS oxidation on the bridge, the jack plate washers, and the tuner washers. The oxidation process is not preventable. The guitar has been in its case for at least the past 5 years. Temperature-controlled, smoke-free home. The previous owner said that he never played this guitar either. I only played it the first day that I got it and as a rule, I never play guitars while wearing belt buckles or shirt buttons.I am hoping to get $50,000 for this guitar. I am willing to end the auction early if I am offered an attractive Buy It Now price...please email me privately. Note that the slightly similar, 2002 Gibson 50th Anniversary is worth $12,000 and it has those ugly "cloud" inlays, an ugly maple? back, and there are 50 of them.Vintage Gibson Gold Tops go from $20,000-$100,000 and there are hundreds of them. Also, there is a 2011 Gibson CS Koa with lower-end features (inlays, tuners, pickups, knobs, neck, etc.) selling for $5,000.You really can't put a price tag on a high-end, absolutely gorgeous rarity. Shipping is included, but you pay for your own insurance if you desire. I will pack it very, very thoroughly and ship it UPS overnight - signature-required. Item will only be shipped within the continental USA.I would prefer to be paid by personal check rather than PayPal, and will not ship the guitar until the check clears. (That is why the handling time is 10 days.) Guitar is sold "as is". No refunds. Lastly, the guitar is also for sale outside of Ebay and I reserve the right to withdraw the auction at any time. I actually don't anticipate this auction making it to the end. Email me privately with questions. Thank you.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: GIBSON LES PAUL '58 REISSUE

GIBSON LES PAUL '58 REISSUE Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: You are bidding on a beautiful '58 Reissue Gibson Les Paul Guitar.  This instrument is in like-new condition, played only thirty minutes or so since purchased in 2000.  Yes, that is correct!  The owner purchased it because of its beauty and legendary quality, but was too busy to play it.  After several years of sitting in the case, he decided to let someone enjoy playing it.  I am not a dealer - just helping my friend to sell this incredible guitar. The 1958 Les Paul Standard Electric Guitar :            Top: carved plain maple            Back wood: solid mahogany            Binding: single-ply cream on top            Neck construction: one-piece mahogany with original-style truss rod route            Fingerboard: 22-fret rosewood            Inlays: vintage trapezoid (accurate shape and color)            Binding: single-ply cream            Profile: early '50s rounded            Scale length: 24-3/4"            Nut width: 1-11/16"            Strings: Vintage Reissue .010-.046            Pickups: BurstBucker 1 (rhythm), BurstBucker 2 (treble)            Other: CTS pots and bumblebee caps            Controls: 2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way switch            Hardware color: nickel            Bridge/tailpiece: ABR-1/aluminum stopbar            Thin, original-style toggleswitch washer and jackplate            Tuner style: Vintage tulip            Accessories: Custom Shop case, Certificate of Authenticity Reviewers say this is one of the nicest guitars available for any price.  New MSRP is over $5600, and discounted price in stores is $3999.  This unique, perfect-condition instrument is available for the highest bid that tops the reasonable reserve.  No dings, scuffs, marks or blemishes on the guitar or the case!  Includes all paperwork and a special lock-strap.In case you have not heard about this guitar, I'll print the information from Gibson after the pictures.  Good Luck!!  If you have questions, drop me a line.  Check out my ratings - you are dealing with an honest ebay member. Near-perfect RecreationThe 1958 Les Paul Standard reissue produced today by Gibson Custom is true to all of the original instrument's features and characteristics, including Gibson's traditional hand-carved "plain" maple top and solid, non-weight relieved mahogany body. The headstock is made from Holly head veneer, as opposed to fiber, just like it was in 1958, and the vintage-style tulip tuners are mounted in a straight line, also as they were on the original. The 24 ¾-inch scale length neck is made from one solid piece of mahogany, and attached to the body using a long neck tenon " one of the Les Paul's more distinguishing characteristics of the 1950s. The neck is topped by a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard outfitted with acrylic trapezoid inlays matching the size and color of the originals. Of course, two of Gibson's legendary Burstbucker pickups deliver all the subtle variations of true, classic humbucker tone by using historically "unmatched" bobbin windings and Alnico II magnets. Other historical appointments include CTS potentiometers, bumble bee capacitors, rolled crème-colored fingerboard binding, single-ply thin binding around the body, and period-correct switchwasher and jackplate. The 1958 Les Paul Standard comes in either a V.O.S. or Gloss finish, and with the standard Gibson Custom case, custom care kit and certificate of authenticity. They are available in Faded Tobacco Burst, Washed Cherry Burst, Iced Tea Burst, Bourbon Burst, Lemon Burst and Sunrise Tea Burst finishes. On Sep-15-11 at 07:35:06 PDT, seller added the following information:TYPO Alert - The guitar was purchased in 2006 - not 2000.  Thanks to the ebay member who caught that for me!

Les Paul Guitars Auction: 01 Gibson Historic 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue 57 NO RESERVE

01 Gibson Historic 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue 57 NO RESERVE Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Up For Bid NO RESERVE AUCTION $1 Opening bidThis is killing me but I must sell. I was in GC today shopping for a used Les Paul for a session and gig I have this weekend. I was looking for a good LP Standard and really did not find one that was what I wanted. I was getting ready to plug in a used PRS and low and behold there was a Goldtop sitting at the trade in station. I went over and asked if the guitar was for sale and they said in a few minutes. Patiently waiting I observed the well played patina the guitar had and the color looked real good. It looked to be to old to be a Historic and I new it was not a real vintage 57. When I was allowed to pick it up I realized it was a 2001 Historic but it looked so old and played in. I asked what the deal was and the GC guy told me it was just traded and was owned by Buddy Guy and a few other artist and it had been around the world a couple of times on tour. By this point I was foaming at the mouth and plugged her in to find an AMAZING playing and sounding guitar that looked and felt like many of the vintage 50's LP's I have owned. Just so you know I have bought and sold over 10 Historic LP's and dozens of vintage so you could say I have seen a few. Needless to say I bought the guitar on the spot took it back to my shop and gave it a set up with 11's. I will be tuning a half step down for my gig and session. The guitar is simply the best Historic and one of the best sounding LP's I have ever owned. I hate to sell it but Come Monday my work will be done and I will be back to playing my trusty Strat. If you want a real vintage looking and feeling guitar you have found it. Checking, Greening, Nicks, Dings, Belt Rash it has it all. Not some cheesey RELIC job but rather a guitar that has been played more in the last 10 years than most get in 35 years. This guitar has good original frets w/ small dents in the first few nothing major. 8.6 lbs, all original less PG, switch tip and the tuners which are Gibson Deluxe found on most LP Standards. The peg head holes were enlarged. I will say it stays in tune great. All else original including pots and 57 Classics. There is no paperwork, no hard case, just a gigbag. You guys can set the price on this GEM. I can PROMISE who ever ends up with this guitar will be AMAZED..... Don't spend $2995 on a new 57 VOS as this guitar is in a different league. I accept paypal and ship USPS priority mail domestic $59 and international $299 and higher depending on your countryOn Sep-15-11 at 20:48:25 PDT, seller added the following information:Click to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize imageClick to open supersize image

Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2002 Gibson Custom Direct Les Paul Abalone Quilt Custom

2002 Gibson Custom Direct Les Paul Abalone Quilt Custom Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: HTML Generator Sample Page 2002 Gibson Custom Direct Les Paul Abalone Quilt Custom- ONE OF A KIND This guitar is from Gibson Custom Direct, a division of Gibson which no longer exists. Custom Direct required a $500 membership fee to even look at the guitars, let alone purchase one. Gibson Custom Direct was an exclusive division of the company which closed several years ago. Custom Direct specialized in doing individual one of a kind guitars, NONE of them were mass produced. My Dad went to the factory and saw the gorgeous quilting and abalone on both sides on this one and knew immediately that he wanted this guitar. (You can see the quilting and abalone in exquisite detail in the pictures). This guitar was purchased directly from Gibson and not through a dealer, my dad WATCHED it being made there in the factory. It has been played maybe five times and kept in its case when not in use. This thing is in PRISTINE condition, not a single scratch or ding anywhere on it. Some of the keys were over polished by the factory, so they included a full set of replacement keys for free. This guitar is *ONE OF A KIND*, you will never see anything like it for sale again. This guitars is incredibly beautiful, and the sound is absolutely perfect. This is a guitar anyone should be excited and proud to own. Please pardon the poor quality of the picture of the paperwork, I couldn't get a good shot of it for the life of me. I can provide scans of it for anyone who is interested. No handling will be charged, only the cost of shipping, and the packaging will be done by a local professional guitar emporium here in Louisville which has been shipping guitars for years and years. This is a great player, a great collector's piece, definitely a one of a kind guitar, and is a guitar owner's dream. Includes Certificate of Authenticity from Gibson. Includes description from Steve Christmas who hand picked the beautiful book end matching quilt maple top. Includes build sheet, including details on original price from Gibson. Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2011 Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Goldtop - VERY NICE !!!!

2011 Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Goldtop - VERY NICE !!!! Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: This auction is for a slightly used Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Gold-top guitar. I am the original owner. It is in excellent condition, all original, no mods made, No dents or dings, and only the smallest couple of light surface scratches on the back (the scratches wouldn't show up on my camera). I used it only in my home studio. It never traveled or gigged. It was kept in a non-smoking home. It works perfect and does not require any repairs. I bought this new from American Musical Supply 3 months ago. It has a PLEK'd neck and plays like butter. The neck is slightly bigger than the 6o's neck but not too big. I have small hands and it still feels great. Action and intonation are dead on. It has a non-chambered weight relief body (the new LP Standards are chambered, Traditionals are not), and weighs a healthy 9.5 lbs according to my bathroom scales. It even smells good. I am selling only because I need the cash. This auction includes the original hardshell case and all the case candy pictured and a new set of strings installed. If you have any questions send me a message. Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2005 Gibson 59 Historic Les Paul Closet Queen

2005 Gibson 59 Historic Les Paul Closet Queen Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: 2005 Gibson Historic Les Paul - It doesnt get any better than this! (Unless of course you can afford an original 59!) This guitar is a closet queen. It is in as new condition. The only thing I can find is there is slight tarnish to the pickup covers that can probably be buffed out if you so choose. It has had the complete RS kit electronic upgrade and has Fralin True 60's pickups. It rings like a bell acoustically and has nice clean articulation across the strings when played clean and overdriven. The neck pickup isnt muddy like most I have played. It is clear and sounds amazing! This guitar has the most beautiful top I have come across. There is no fade out anywhere! The neck is perfect. Not too fat, not too skinny.......just right, and she comes in at 8.2 Pounds!! You don''t come across a beauty like this often so bid accordingly......On Sep-09-11 at 09:45:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Also as requested I have added a photo of the COA, original case candy including original hang tag and original electronics. I do not have the original pickups.

Les Paul Guitars Auction: 2001 Les Paul Standard with Gibson hardshell case

2001 Les Paul Standard with Gibson hardshell case Le Paul Guitar Auction Description: Up for sale is a wine red 2001 Les Paul Standard (serial#01321627) in near mint condition. I have owned this guitar for 6 years and never gigged with it. I only used it for rehearsals and studio work it has spent the majority of that time stored in a climate controlled room in its Gibson hard-shell case. When I got the guitar originally it looked as if it had never even been played. This guitar is extremely clean with only a very mild case of buckle rash, one small ding and a couple small scratches with almost non existent fret wear. This guitar has also been upgraded further by adding Grover tuners, Tone Pro bridge, and String Saver graphite saddles. All tech work and setup done by Steve Helgeson of Moonstone guitars. This guitar is not only amazing to look at it plays like a dream and the tone is unbelievable all the switches and pots work perfectly and the pickups are all original. I am not sure if the pickups are the classic 57s or if they are the 496R /500T combination but whatever it is I would not change anything. Mother of pearl trapezoid inlay and made in the USA. It's 11 pounds of superb sound quality. Thanks for viewing and good luck on this one! NOTE: Shipping is included for those in the lower 48 states of the continental US. If this doesn't describe you then additional charges will apply.

This auction also includes the original hard shell Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity, and all of the other original case candy. We sold this guitar new two years ago and just took it back in trade. Everything functions just as it should and there are no issues of any sort. Everything is original with no mods or repairs. The hard shell case and candy are also in mint condition. Our tech just set it up with 10's and it plays like a dream with nice low action. The neck is a very comfortable rounded profile and is super easy to get around on.
